Lynx FAQ: Grills, Outdoor Kitchens & Refrigeration
Lynx has been American-made since 1996, built by craftspeople who cut their teeth manufacturing commercial stainless steel equipment for restaurants — and that standard carries into every grill, burner, and outdoor kitchen component they make today. Grills & Cooking Questions
The Professional is Lynx's flagship line, hand-tooled from 304-grade stainless steel with seamless welds, cast ceramic burners at 25,000 BTUs each, Trident Infrared Burners, a hood lift assist, and a lifetime warranty on the body, burners, and cooking grates. The Sedona by Lynx is the accessible entry point into the brand, built with 201-grade stainless steel and stainless tube burners at 23,000 BTUs. Both feature ceramic briquettes, LED-backlit control knobs, halogen interior lighting, and a ProSear infrared burner.
The Trident is Lynx's exclusive infrared searing burner — and what separates it from standard infrared burners is full variable heat control. Rather than an on/off sear burner, the Trident adjusts from 300°F to 1,000°F for precise control across any cook. It's rated at 23,000 BTUs and carries a lifetime warranty on Professional models.
Instead of metal heat tents, Lynx uses fixed-position ceramic briquettes positioned over the burners. The briquettes absorb heat from the burner and distribute it evenly across the cooking surface, eliminating cold spots and hot zones.
The Lynx Professional is available in 30", 36", 42", and 54" widths. The Sedona by Lynx is available in 30", 36", and 42" widths. Both series are offered in built-in and freestanding configurations across all sizes.

Yes. Every Lynx Professional grill includes a dual-position, 3-speed rotisserie with a heavy-duty motor and a dedicated rear infrared burner for even heat distribution during longer roasting cooks. On the Sedona by Lynx, the rotisserie is an optional add-on depending on the model.
No. Every Lynx Professional grill features a hood lift assist mechanism that counterbalances the weight of the heavy 304-grade stainless steel hood, making it easy to raise and lower with one hand. The handle also rotates fluidly as you lift, which reduces wrist strain during use.
The ceramic briquettes are self-cleaning. After cooking, reverse the tray and run the grill on high for approximately 5 minutes to burn off grease buildup. No scrubbing, no soaking required.
Lynx was founded in 1996 by a group of craftspeople with more than 30 years of experience manufacturing commercial stainless steel equipment for restaurants. Every Lynx grill is proudly American-made, and that same engineering and build standard carries into every product made today.
The Lynx Professional carries a 1-year full warranty on all components, a 5-year limited warranty on parts including the rotisserie motor, ignitor, and warming racks, and a lifetime limited warranty on the Trident Burner, ceramic main burners, and structural stainless steel components including the cooking grates, canopy, and control panel. The Sedona by Lynx carries a 1-year full warranty on all components, a 5-year limited warranty on key parts, and a 15-year limited warranty on stainless steel structural components.
