Brand & Product Frequently Asked Questions
Wildfire Outdoor Living is based in Phoenix, Arizona, and is a brand of RPG Brands, a family-owned company with over 40 years of experience in the outdoor living and hearth industry.
Soft Edge refers to Wildfire's seamlessly welded rounded corners and smooth transitions across all surfaces — a deliberate move away from the sharp, utilitarian look of most outdoor kitchen products.
The black finish is achieved through an innovative binding process exclusive to Wildfire Outdoor Living. It carries the same durability, corrosion resistance, and longevity as traditional stainless, with a dramatically different aesthetic.
No. The black styling is bound directly into the 304-grade stainless steel. It's as durable as traditional stainless steel and holds up to the same high-heat outdoor cooking conditions.
Yes. The Ranch Pro gas grill lineup is available in both the signature black 304 stainless steel and traditional 304 stainless steel finishes across all sizes. The black stainless is Wildfire's signature and most recognized look, but the traditional finish is available for those building a more conventional outdoor kitchen aesthetic.
The Ranch Pro is Wildfire's flagship line of gas grills and griddles, available in 30", 36", and 42" sizes in both built-in and freestanding cart configurations. Every Ranch Pro grill features a double-wall spring-assisted hood, LED-backlit knobs, internal halogen lighting, and a built-in rear infrared burner for rotisserie cooking.
Yes. Every Ranch Pro grill and griddle is available in both natural gas and liquid propane configurations.
Wildfire's 6-gauge laser-cut 304 stainless steel cooking grates come standard on every Ranch Pro grill. The laser-cut pattern provides greater surface contact for improved searing, while the design allows you to grill smaller, more delicate foods that would slip through standard grates.
Wildfire uses premium triangular cast 304 stainless steel burners rather than stamped or tubular burners. The triangular shape allows grease to flow away from the burner ports, reducing flare-ups. Cast burners hold their shape under extreme, prolonged heat and distribute heat more evenly. The Ranch Pro lineup delivers between 42,000 and 74,000 BTUs depending on model size.
Yes. Every Ranch Pro grill includes stainless steel heat dividers that maintain separate burner zones across the cooking surface. You can run one side at high heat for searing steaks while keeping the other side at a lower temperature for finishing delicate seafood or vegetables, all at the same time.
No. The Ranch Pro uses a PIEZO flamethrower ignition system that lights the burners instantly without batteries or external power.
Yes. Every Ranch Pro grill includes illuminated LED knob bezels that glow at night for easy temperature reading, and high-intensity internal halogen lighting that illuminates the entire cooking surface.
Yes. Every Ranch Pro built-in grill includes a rear infrared burner rated at up to 10,000 BTUs, designed specifically for rotisserie-style cooking. A rotisserie kit is available as an optional add-on for whole roasts, poultry, and large cuts.
The Ranch Pro features a double-wall spring-assisted hood that counterbalances the weight of the heavy-duty stainless steel lid, making it easy to lift with one hand. The double-wall construction also improves heat retention during cooking.
Wildfire offers a Double Side Burner with 2 cast brass burners delivering 30,000 BTUs, and a high-output Power Burner with a single cast stainless steel burner rated at 60,000 BTUs. Both feature LED backlit knob bezels and are available in black stainless and traditional stainless to match the rest of the island.
Yes. Wildfire griddles include heat indicator lights that signal when the cooking surface is active, removing any guesswork when moving between stations during a cook.
Yes. Wildfire offers a fully coordinated outdoor kitchen lineup beyond the grill and griddle, including storage components such as access doors, storage drawers, door and drawer combos, and trash bins; outdoor refrigeration including a 24" upright outdoor refrigerator and a 24" dual drawer refrigerator; warming drawers; and side burners and power burners. All storage and refrigeration components are available in matching black stainless or traditional stainless to create a seamless island.
Wildfire offers a tiered limited warranty covering defects in workmanship and materials under normal residential use for the original purchaser only. The stainless steel housing and frame carry a lifetime limited warranty. Cooking grids, warming rack, flavor grids, cast stainless burners, and infrared burners carry a 5-year limited warranty. Valves and manifold carry a 2-year limited warranty. Ignition systems, electrical, and plastic components carry a 1-year limited warranty. All parts, shipping, and labor credit for pre-approved warranty repairs are covered for 1 year. This warranty does not cover commercial or rental use, surface corrosion, scratches, or discoloration from normal use. Refer to the manufacturer's manual for full warranty terms.
The black 304 stainless steel finish requires the same care as traditional stainless. Clean regularly with a soft cloth and a stainless steel cleaner or mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive scrubbers, steel wool, or harsh chemicals that can scratch or dull the surface. Always wipe in the direction of the grain. For coastal or humid environments, more frequent cleaning is recommended to remove salt and moisture buildup. Using a grill cover when the unit is not in use extends the life of the finish.
