Grill is overall good. However the "smart" aspect is a hassle. It's difficult for it to stay connected to the Wi-Fi. Also all it does for standard grilling is give the temperature and the fuel remaining which could have been done with a simple mechanical thermometer and a tank gauge. I was anticipating it controlling the temperature. As a result, to power it you have to run and extension cord or use a battery. I use a battery but have to keep it charged. Also it would have been nice if Weber could offer a battery as an accessory. I like the way it cooks but should have bought a cheaper "dumb" version.

Quality build. Great performance. Bought the first Genesis 15 years ago. Question… Rebuild or buy new? I went new and gave my original one to my son-in-law to rebuild. I know he and I have a good number of years of great BBQ ahead.

Despite the price, Unit does not come assembled. Many great features and customary Weber quality components. Igniter was defective, but has been replaced.

Had an older Weber that worked extremely well for over a decade but it was time. The new Weber carried in the legacy of quality and a fine cooking tool.

Love the grill overall. Only problem is the wheels -- very hard to lock down. Pressing down on the red levers with my foot is difficult and the wheels don't lock easily.

So far, so good! Cooks evenly and without flare-up. Great size and was pretty easy to put together, though took me an hour longer than was stated, but I didn't hurry. Cooks a little faster than I'm used to, so I have to be careful not to overcook beef and fish. I'm waiting on getting the griddle and pizza stone, but look forward to those also. Haven't used the side burner yet, but Sunday breakfast is happening tomorrow! All in all, this is a great grill.

Nice grill but not worth the high price. Also, having an old fashioned temperature gauge on the hood in addition to the blue tooth one would be nice.

Overall, I'm happy with my grill. I was disappointed with the amount if damage to the stainless and that the badge was even place level on the cover! Also, I filled a complete days after receiving my grill and have yet to receive a response.

To remove these lines, please use a commercial adhesive remover like Goo-Gone, followed by a stainless steel cleaner and polish (BarKeeper's Friend works great). When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
