Awesome grill! Heats up evenly….smart app is spot on

My first 2 times I could not get temp over 240F, even w all burners on fully up. Then changed tank and still same. Used it a 4th tome last nt, and seemed to be better, but still not achieving temps I would expect. Likely will have to reach out to Weber.

We appreciate your feedback, and we apologize for the frustration. Your grill should easily reach 500°F. If your grill is not reaching the desired temperature, there are a few things to check. Let's start with the easy stuff: 1. Please make sure you consider "High" on your control knobs to be the first spot to your left (the 9:00 position). The further you go to the right, the lower the temperature will be, and all the way to the right is low. 2. Please make sure you're always cooking with the lid down except when flipping the food halfway. The second you open the lid the heat escapes, and you'll need to close it to let the temperature recover. 3. It sounds like your grill may be in a safety mode known as “bypass." What’s happening is that the regulator thinks there’s a gas leak, so it reduces the pressure. Perform a soapy water leak test to check for leaks. If there is no leak, follow these instructions to reset the bypass safety mode. This is not only the reset, but how you want to light your grill each and every time. Open the lid Make sure all knobs are in the off position Turn your LP tank on all the way Wait 60 seconds - This is the MOST important part. Turn light the first burner and leave it on high Turn on remaining burners one at a time and set each to high Close the lid Let your grill preheat to 450°F-500°F
Like the grill a lot. Don't like that I have to hang the propane tank. There isn't a gauge reader. Expensive enough- make the bottom sturdier so the tank can sit on it!
Heats up very quickly compared to my old grill, the burners are arranged different so much easier to direct the heat to one side or cook indirectly. I like the enclosed bottom, hides the gas bottle and provides a little storage. The grease trap seems improved, time will tell how it performs. Still learning how it cooks, going to use it tonight, ask me next year again
I'm very pleased with the overall build and design. Especially noteworthy is the burner and ignition system. This grill seems to have better flare up control than my 15 year old Summit. Assembly could be simplified and accomplished quicker if the instructions included text vs illustrations only.
Genesis S-315 natural gas grill has issues that are poor construction. It is not a simple fix for owner. During indirect grilling the rack just falls off onto the lower ooking grates. So you can't use both sections without a major mess.
Nice product. Wish is came with a weighing tank holder.
It looks and feels more substantial than other grills we looked at. Best part is it controls temperatures very well. Easy to clean as well.
About my 5th Weber, usually lasting 8-10 years, hope this is the same. Just started using it very even grilling and the new electronic stuff makes control easier.

Questions & Answers
Hi Breen. For safety reasons, Weber does not share those dimensions.
Asked by breen | Answered by Wesley29 and 3/16" wide without the side tables.
Asked by breen | Answered by phil_steurerHi Rob. The Weber Quick Disconnect hose will include everything your licensed gas installer will need.
Asked by Rob | Answered by WesleyHi Kathy. Weber provides very clear, easy to follow instruction on assembly of the Genesis grills. It may take about an hour, or so, but it really isn't difficult.
Asked by kathy | Answered by WesleyHi Doofus. For natural gas connections, we strongly suggest you confer with a local licensed gas installer. They will have whatever is necessary to make any and all connections.
Asked by Doofus | Answered by WesleyHi Chef Gary. Please contact a licensed gas professional in your area for this installation, for safety reasons.
Asked by Chef Gary | Answered by WesleyHi Michele. The side tables on the Weber GENESIS do not fold down.
Asked by Michele | Answered by WesleyHi, Stephen. This would be the kit that fits the older Genesis II grills as well as the newer generation GENESIS models like this E-325s: https://www.bbqguys.com/weber/7652-rotisserie-kit-for-genesis-ii-2b-and-3b-gas-grills
Asked by Stephen | Answered by LoganHi, Erica. The Smart Connect module can either be powered plugged into standard outlet or with a separately purchased rechargeable battery pack connecting to the module's USB-C port. Weber advises that you use your battery pack's USB-A port to connect to the module's USB-C port.
Asked by Erica | Answered by LoganHi Tim. Only a 20-pound LP tank will fit within the cart of the GENESIS S-325
Asked by Tim | Answered by WesleyHi, Mark. Yes the Weber GENESIS S-325s would use a Weber model 7652 Rotisserie Kit for 3 burner gas grills. https://www.bbqguys.com/weber/7652-rotisserie-kit-for-genesis-ii-2b-and-3b-gas-grills

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
