Weber Genesis E-335 Natural Gas Grill w/ Sear Zone & Side Burner - Black - 1500536

In a prior post I expressed my displeasure with Weber's customer service. Well, in seeing my review, they pounce and addressed the issue in an exemplary manner. I am Impressed. One bad apple sometimes doesn't spoil all the other fine apples! Problem solved, all smiles. Great folks, great products! (And a special thanks to Emily!)

I was a previous Genesis owner and was impressed with the efficiency and durability of that grill (S330). When the opportunity to buy a new E-335 presented itself I jumped on the deal right away. Features of this one that I like are the sear station. Very robust. The side locker for storage is convenient too, although the metalwork seems flimsy and lightweight, it does it's job. The improved igniter system works well, and now includes lighting of the side burner. The new style burners are of a new (better) design and I suspect might be more durable. The grease tray is improved and easier to use. Now to the cooking... It took me a couple of cooks to get comfortable with the slight differences in heat settings on the new grill. The porcelain cast iron grates work well and leave great "grill" marks but are a bit harder to clean than the stainless grates on the previous Weber. The E-335 doesn't have the "gauge" for the hanging propane tank, but really you don't need it. I never even looked at the one on the previous grill. Just heft the tank a bit and you'll know if you have gas. Bottom line...a great grill.

This is my 5th Weber grill. The first was a kettle charcoal grill, then a red spirit grill, then a summit natural gas grill, another black Spirit at a summer place, and a new black genesis E335 since I do not have natural gas at my new home.

After extensive use, the Weber S-335 has proven itself to be a standout performer in the world of outdoor grilling. The sear zone is amazing. This grill is built very well.

The worst customer service I've ever experienced! S-335 NG Grill shipped with the wrong side burner tray (which is an acceptable mistake). When I called to get the correct product, it was challenging, but ultimately consummated; however, the SAME wrong part was sent. When I called the next time, the service representative was simply horrible, repeated kept me on hold for extended periods. As this continued, she REFUSED to allow me to speak with her supervisor to resolve, and even though I requested her to do so many, many times. A very bad experience with what I thought WAS a good company.

I'm not as confident that this new grill will stand the test of time like my last Weber grill (I am hopeful, but doubtful). Putting them side by side, the gauge of the metal seems much thinner, the cover is much lighter as well. I miss the tank gauge. I miss the sturdiness of the scaping tray and pan holder. We loved our last one and gave it to a friend who will most likely use it for years to come. I am hoping that we will be able to do the same with this new Weber

It´s very flexible for any kind of meals. Steak, chicken, vegetables, pizza and so much more. It keeps and distributes heat very well.

This is grill is very well designed. It has an even temperature across the cooking area. And it heats up very fast, to get you grilling.

Love the new Weber grill. This is my 3rd one. Gets hot fast. I do NOT like the fact you have to use the starter to ignite each burner one at a time.. This will wear on the ignition using it 4 more times than necessary per cooking session.

This thing performs! It's easy to use and has a ton of options to grill various items.
