I received my 22" 70th Anniversary Edition Kettle Hollywood Gray from Weber over three weeks ago, and unfortunately, my experience has been quite disappointing due to the lack of proper quality control. During assembly, I encountered an issue with the leg holder being misaligned, which inhibited the attachment of the ash catcher. I appreciate Weber's swift customer service response in sending a replacement part, yet, upon completion of assembly, I found the lid to be oval not round, which causes the lid to slide to one side making it skewed. Now I'm left awaiting a new lid which, to my frustration, is currently back-ordered. The defective parts not only undermined my initial excitement but also caused me to miss the joy of grilling on Father's Day and the 4th of July. On a positive note, the customer service representative I interacted with was courteous and professional. However, given these persistent quality control issues, I'm skeptical about purchasing another Weber product in the future. This experience has certainly marred my perception of a brand I had held in high esteem.

I absolutely adore this grill. I have received many compliments on the color, and truly enjoy the versatility of the kettle. I am able to cook low and slow as well as hot and fast.

Quality of paint is horrible. Customer service told me is because it's hand painted ceramic and will not replace the bowl due to paint not covering the bowl entirely. Also, the legs do not clip in correctly. Got replacement clips and still not working properly.

This is definitely a much better improvement than the previous grills … easy to assemble and looks fantastic … can't wait for my first time using it!

Mine is actually the light blue. It's a great grill, but the plastic fake wood handles are cheap, don't perfectly align. You can never go wrong with a Weber kettle. The price for the "Anniversary Edition" is a bit high, but mine was a gift. Overall great looking grill,

Works and looks great!, no issues with the grill so far, I do hope next gen come with a more stable design to move around, I understand the 3 Point support system is how it was designed, but a 4 point support base would make it more stable.

I have had a gas Weber grill for a year when to the 22" 70TH Anniversary Edition KETTLE HOLLYWOOD. I already knew how versatile and easy they are to operate. It performs as expected (in the best way possible). It is amazing how easy temp control can be with a little bit of practice. The real draw to this grill is how beautiful it is. Weber knocked it out of the park with the 70th anniversary design. I chose the more subdued Hollywood Grey, the handles look like wood, but are plastic. You can't tell once they are installed, and I think the plastic will stand the test of time better than real wood which can dry out and crack easily. I highly recommend (and do recommend to others) getting a 22" Weber Kettle and the 70th is just too pretty to pass up. Get one!

Enjoying my Weber 70th anniversary kettle grill. Nice metal anniversary plate and bottle opener was included. Special badging on the handles and wings surrounding the temperature gauge gives it a vintage look.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
