I just broke in my new Weber with a round of steaks and chicken! It was so easy to assemble and use! I was worried about heat control, but the vents made it so easy. I got a perfect, crusty sear on my steaks that looked like a professional steakhouse did it. I moved the chicken to the 'cool' side for a bit, and it came out smoky and tender, not charred to a crisp. The 18" size is surprisingly roomy for a full meal. I expected a mess for my first time, but the one-touch ash system made the post-grill cleanup a total breeze. For a first-timer, this was foolproof. If you want that authentic smoky flavor without a complicated setup, this classic is the only way to go!

My family loves barbecues, and we always have a blast grilling together. I'm really excited about getting this classic and easy to maintain and one step cleaning Weber Original Kettle Charcoal Grill 18". It's small but still works great, and it can grill up to 8 burger patties at once. I also grill kabobs and whole chickens, and they always turn out perfectly. The handle doesn't get too hot while cooking, which makes it easy to handle, and it has two wheels for easy moving. It keeps the heat in and spreads it out evenly. You can adjust the temperature by opening and closing the lid damper and vent. One of my concerns is that the paint is chipping from the edges of the bowl and lid. The material and overall quality seem durable, though. I'm satisfied with this pretty kettle and would recommend it to others.

Absolutely loving our Weber charcoal grill. Versatile, portable and it's the perfect size grill for camping, taking it to the cabin, beach or lake side, yet large enough for at home grilling, able to fit up to 6 New York strips at once. The quality is great and what we've all come to expect from the Weber brand and built to last. Grates are quality stainless steel, durable and easy to clean. Wheels make it easy to move around, the ash catching tray is easily removable and easy to clean. Overall we are truly pleased with this grill.

It is durable and very ligut weight. I love that it is perfect for even smaller backyards and it is so easy to travel with as well. The design is amazing and functions very well

An American original. Accept no substitute! This like the Ford Mustang, it's gone through some changes but the original heart of the matter is still there. So, if you're a patriot, if you fly the flag proudly every day, then park a Weber in your back yard and get to grilling.

For years I had abandoned a charcoal kettle for the convenience of a gas grill. Recently, my wife found an 18" Weber kettle on sale and brought it home to surprise me. Using some lump charcoal I began experimenting with chicken, steaks, and recently as a side choice for Thanksgiving, some country style ribs. What a difference! And the flavor is over-the-top delicious! The trade off in immediate convenience for flavor is well worth it in our opinion! The ribs were the choice vs the turkey this Thanksgiving. I'm planning on trying a crown pork roast on the Weber for Christmas dinner. Very pleased with the results. Would buy again. Ha!

Our lil Weber is perfect for the two of us. From smoking an 8lb pork butt, to 6-8 chicken thighs, and more, it fits just enough food to make meals for two for the week. I just wish it had a thermometer to make it slightly easier to gauge the temps on those windy afternoon grill days.

It's a 5 star product when put together but a 4 star product putting it together. The written instructions are different then the U-Tube instructions so you have to guess about which version to use.

This is a perfect side grill. I have a smoker but sometimes it is nice to have something to cook over fire. It has done its job perfectly.

Hi Beck. Weber does not make a side tray for the original kettle grills. However, they do have the Performer Charcoal Grills that incorporates the original kettle into a table.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
