Key Features
- Includes a flat top griddle insert and cast-iron grates for low and slow smoking or high heat searing
- DigitalFan for precise temperature control
- GravityFed Charcoal Hopper holds 16 lbs of briquettes or 10 lbs of lump charcoal for up to 10 hours of fuel

In just 10 minutes, it can reach smoking temperatures as low as 225 F, or climb to 700 F in only a few minutes more for a perfect steak sear. The vertical charcoal hopper holds up to 10 lbs of lump charcoal or 16 lbs of briquettes, providing up to 8 hours of consistent cooking time. As gravity pushes fresh charcoal toward the fire, spent ash drops into the bin below for easy cleanup. For shorter cooks, simply insert the included slides to cut off airflow, extinguish the fire, and save your unused charcoal for next time. Enhance flavor by adding wood chunks either to the charcoal hopper or the ash bin to generate rich, smoky notes. Heat and smoke flow evenly through a precision-engineered manifold with graduated ports, ensuring consistent results across the entire cooking chamber. The main cooking area features cast iron grates and an optional flat-top griddle insert, giving you plenty of space and versatile cooking options for entertaining any party.

I've had mine for 5 years now. Never been disappointed with the performance of this grill. If it ever decides to fall apart, I will be buying another one. Customer service is extremely well.
Was faded and brittle before a year was up and now a little over a year later after purchase and it's ripping apart because it's so brittle.

Used the griddle with my 1150 for smash burgers. Had great results the manifold of the 1150 does a excellent Job in keeping it Hot.
Work as expected and super convenient. Love them for my gravity series!
I've been using the Gravity Series 1050 for 3 seasons now and while I like it for long smokes, there are some details that are less than desirable. The gravity-fed system holds temperature impressively well once dialed in, and the large cooking area handles briskets, ribs, and multiple racks with ease. That said, build quality on the electronic components leaves a lot to be desired. The control panel buttons cracked and began deteriorating within 1 season, though they still function. The door safety switches are flimsy and required some creative rigging (bypassing and reinforcing) to prevent constant shutdowns. The fan occasionally jams from ash or small charcoal pieces falling in; no guard from the factory. I've already replaced the firebox walls once, with the masterbuilt kit. I wish that kit would have included a replacement seal for the stack since the original tears easily during disassembly. It's a solid performer with great potential, but expect to do some DIY maintenance and minor upgrades to keep it running reliably. If you're handy and don't mind tinkering, it's a worthwhile investment. I've seen lots of mods being sold by third party sellers as well. If you want something truly plug-and-play, look elsewhere. Pros: Excellent temp control, large capacity, fast heat-up Cons: Cheap electronics, no fan guard, fragile buttons, replacement parts need better kits

My Famly bought this unit for me for Father's day two years ago. I love it not only can I do charcoal, I can throw in pellets for the perfect blend or wood chips. I have done a turkey,Tritip, Ribs, burgers what ever the meat is you cant go wrong with these units. Outstanding performance!!!
Unbelievable grill, griddle, smoker. This Masterbuilt 800 replace not one, but four cookers….my Treager, gas grill, charcoal grill/offset smoker and a blackstone griddle. Sold all of them. The 800 does it all and so easy to use and monitor all the temps of the grill and meat with probes all through the Bluetooth and their amazing Masterbuilt App.
My brother gifted me the 800 series grill last February for my birthday. We assembled it and have been usiing it on a regular basis. I love the fact that this grill takes the guessing out of cooking with too hot or too low a temp. I have used it as a grill for steaks and burgers, a smoker for some butts and briskets and with the griddle for some tripitas. This grill has given me peace of mind because once the temperature is set, the rest is up to who ever is cooking. For example, when I first used it as a smoker, I love that the temperature remained constant through out the entire smoke. I was able to check the temp on my phone the entire time. It was was very easy to use.
I've had this smoker for about a year now and I absolutely love it!! I have cooked everything from pork shoulders and butts to smoked wings and burgers and it never disappoints me!! I love the convenience of the auto light feature put the charcoal in and the fire starter and walk away. It connects to my phone and I can track everything with the cook through the app! And the smoke flavor this puts out is amazing!! Never had one person say they didn't absolutely love the food. All of my next purchases with be Masterbuilt looking into the gravity series

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
