Weber Original Kettle 22-Inch Charcoal Grill - Black - 741001

We're obsessed. Weber has always been tried and true for us. Love that it's taller so we don't have to keep bending down. The size is perfect too. We've done hot dogs and steaks already!

This is my first charcoal grill and so far I'm really enjoying using it. It was very easy to assemble and seems very sturdy and durable. The vents help me regulate the heat easily and I've been getting a nice smoky flavor on everything I've grilled so far. The wheels are nice so I can move it around to store it. The grilling surface has plenty of space and I really like that you can hang the lid off of the side.

This is one of the best grills I have owned. I gave only three stars because of some flaws. The one-touch cleaning system is too flimsy; mine has shed two of the three "petals", significantly limiting my control of the airflow. The other flaw is worse. The cooking grate is chrome plated steel. That is a stupid choice of material. The chrome flakes off into the food over time, leading to corrosion of the underlying steel. Worse, I'm feeding chrome flakes to my family. I accessed Weber's parts list online, looking for a stainless steel grate. Weber doesn't even make one. I'll have to resort to an aftermarket grate. Weber's classic bowl design is so well designed and well manufactured, it's a mystery to me why they would put such a cheap piece of garbage as their grate in their signature grill. A mystery and a disappointment.

I've been really happy with the Weber Original Kettle 22. Setup was quick and easy, and it's very simple to use once you get cooking. It holds heat well and gives food that real smoky charcoal flavor. Burgers, steaks, and chicken all come out great. Solid grill that feels like it'll last for years.

This Weber Grill is easy to use and makes barbecuing anything very easy.. It was easy to assemble following the instructions and illustrations. It also came with a 10 year limited warranty. The Weber grill is easy to move around my yard because it has wheels. There are vents on the top and the bottom of the grill to control the heat and a tray at the bottom of the grill too let out the used charcoal ash. It looks really good and I enjoy barbecuing on it at least twice a week. It is built very well and it is sturdy and strong. It is a safe grill for. Folks that are learning to grill. It is a well-known American favorite grill. I highly recommend it.

I have had a few Weber kettle grills and they have always worked flawlessly. I really appreciate the newer design features like the heat shield on the lid handle and the hooks molded into the handle for hanging tongs and spatulas.

I've always wanted a charcoal grill and this fits the bill perfectly. I am challenged with the concepts of charcoal cooking but getting better at it each time I use it. Nothing like the original!

We've been enjoying this Weber charcoal grill so far. I love that it's on wheels and it's lightweight so it's easy to move around. It's nice that we can just throw it in the back of the truck and take it with us whenever we need. It's great for picnics and tailgating and we can't wait to take it camping one day. It heat up nice and evenly and so far everything we've eaten from the grill has been yummy!

This 22" weber kettle grill has easily become my go to grill, I used to be intimidated by charcoal grilling, but honestly, it's not that complicated. It only takes a little more time to get started and the flavor is far superior to electric grills. The grates have been easy to clean and it lightweight and portable which is a huge plus for me. A couple downsides to me are the ash catcher doesn't always catch ash or hot coals. Finding the lid hook can be a little tricky at first but I quickly got used to it. The last drawback is lack of prep space. After using several other grills, I realized I took for granted having shelves or areas to set down food, utensils, or thermometers. Overall, this grill performs great, the food taste amazing and I'm happy I had the chance to try and review it.
