Can you convert the EX-335 from natural gas to propane?
No, but fortunately Weber offers a version of the EX-335 for propane.
Does the GENESIS line replace the old Genesis II grills?
It does! The Genesis II grills have all been discontinued, and have been replaced by the current line of GENESIS grills.

More than just a grill - I used two sensors in a rack of lamb to ensure they were done. Didn't have to open the grill, just watched my phone app for them to come to temp and pulled them out - perfect! I'd tried to serve lamb at Easter before and cookbook timing for oven roasting was way off - had embarrassingly undercooked, chewy lamb chops! This year, I could socialize w family without worrying or checking.

Great barbecue. My last barbecue was a genesis with side burner and at 14 yrs was still going strong. Gave to grand-son so I could upgrade. Got the half skillet for this barbecue and it is great for cooking breakfast. Would buy again.

Well made, sturdy grill. wheel assembly makes it easy to move around the patio. I especially like the grease trap that slides out for easy cleaning. I bought this from a big-box hardware store, and it had some damage that Weber Customer Service corrected promptly. Only had it for a couple months, but am satisfied with how it has performed so far.

So far a great purchase. The Genesis has not disappointed. Putting it together was a breeze with two people and using the app. While I've only had this for a few months each cook off the grill has been good. Most of what I have cooked has been indirect and with a thermometer. I have had perfect chicken and steaks. I have also done a nice reverse sear steak. I'm looking forward to see what else I can do with this grill.

Grill is great ,but i wanted the sx-335. I was half complete with the grill when i noticed it had no side burner. Totally my fault, but to late to box up and send back. Too many grills and numbers that are similar. I would buy the side burner but they say it wont work , it shows the ability in the set up manual to accommodate a side burner, Its just a brass tee for the gas line. Come on weber!

We have yet to use it due to weather and a recent surgery. If it perform to anything close to our last 30 yr old Weber (gave away, still in use) we will be more than happy.

The stainless grates are not our favorite. There is a major gap between the two grates, not like the cast iron ones. I had an entire chicken breast fall through into the abyss. Was surprised how far apart they spread. Now I know but seems like a very poor design where food can fall through.

best grill I have ever owned. Solid construction and and even heat distribution across the entire surface. No "hot spots". The sear zone is perfect for giving steaks that initial char like restaurants. The burners actually deliver a wide range of heat instead of being hot all the time. I'll never be satisfied with a cheaper grill again.

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
