The newly designed GENESIS gas grill features our largest and hottest sear zone, with secondary cooking grate so that the main course and sides are all grilled and served at the same time. As a bonus, each knob is notched with small-spaced tick marks for more precise flame control. My grill is exposed to year-round west coast coastal conditions. My old Genesis did well considering: 12 year before everything that could rust through did. I'd replaced some lower panels a few years ago, and tubes and other interior parts over time. But they were not made for ready replacement. This is what sets the new series apart. The new Genesis frame and associated parts are much stouter, better designed, and better connect. It did take awhile to put together, but only because of the well conceived assembly (and the instructions were excellent, though perhaps too much cardboard and styrofoam). Many more parts are stainless, and I can already tell that when some of the powder coated part fail in 10 years or so from now in this marine environment that I'll be able to easily replace them. The searing function's also brilliant. Nice job, Weber!

My first Weber came with a 25 year warranty. Kind of disappointed this one only comes with a ten year warranty. Examining the component hardware on this new one, I understand why. The cabinet/stand is made of incredibly thin metal, compared to my last Weber. Even the knobs feel flimsy.

Great grill for cooking however it is a terrible design. The side and back are open and you can see all the wires and internal parts. Sitting on a deck the view of the grill is most unpleasant. We went from a full blown Summit unit to this and are disappointed

Congratulations on your new Genesis S-325s! We appreciate your feedback regarding the gaps in the cabinet. We are happy to help explain further. The cabinet is designed to have openings due safety concerns. All our grill cabinets have ventilation in the cabinet to allow for air flow through the grill. This is done with safety in mind. Also, the grill is weather proof and rain will not damage any of the grill's electronics. Using one of our grill cover would also be helpful. Our Care team will be reaching out to follow up. This is my second Weber, and once again I was not disappointed. (First one lasted about 25 years!) I love the new technology added, and the Sear Zone! Didn't know what I was missing, with Sear Zone. Oh! Assembly was easy, good directions and photos. The temperature probe with temperature alert, WOW! Even made future son-in-law comment on his steak done right! A first.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
