Typically our house ends up as the entertaining house for our friends and family. For many years with the 22", i was longing for a little more grilling space. The 26" definately covers what i need for those big gatherings.

I bought this 26" grill about a month ago. Could not be happier with my decision. I did a couple of mods on it. Added a Lava lock lid seal, added a thermometer by the top vent that way I can more or less gauge the temp on the hot and colder side of the grill, bought a Vortex ring and a slow and sear. Overall great quality, easy to put together and great tasting food.

Having a 22" charcoal grill for years I was able to cook some delicious food on it. From burgers, fish, steaks and with an extension ring, rotisserie chicken. The problem was when my grown kids came over there wasn't quite enough room to cook easily using the hot and cool zone method, which I prefer. Looking at the Ranch charcoal grill it was toooo big and then I found the 26" . Purchased it a couple months ago and glad I did. It fits my needs. The only issue is finding an extension ring for doing rotisserie cooks. For the first timer, don't invest in the 22". The grill will last for years if cared for. Plan for the future and buy the 26" charcoal grill.

Weber has the best customer service and their products last so when looking for another charcoal grill i had no issues choosing this company. As far as the Weber 26 its perfect size, its kind of the unsung hero that i dont think people think of. I was worried about it being to large but now that i have it not a worry at all. For smaller cooks i utilize the baskets that come with it and when done can close vents and still have charcoal left but its perfectly sized for indirect grilling pr smoking.

I love my new Weber 26 inch. The thing is a beast. The critique I have is that Weber should consider putting a thermometer on the. Side where the vent is on the cover. It would help when smoking. Bought one myself and mounted it. Looks great.

I honestly think Weber kettles are the best value cookers on the market. I love them! However I was disappointed in the quality control on the 26" kettle I received. The bottom triangle hook that connects to the front leg was bent (I had to grab it in several spots with vice grips and bend it back into place), the lid damper was way too tight and I couldn't turn it (had to warranty it for a new lid and the new lid came out of round so I had to gently bend to fit), and the ash sweeper rubs real bad on the aluminum housing. It cooks great but has its issues. Weber stands behind their products and helps out where they can which mean a lot to me. Because of that commitment I wouldn't hesitate to buy another if needed.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
