Weber Performer Deluxe Charcoal Grill, This is a Fantastic Grill, so easy to use, Really like the gas lite system. Best Weber I have ever purchased. Have had a number of Weber gas grills, this is far better. Food quality is far superior to gas.

I really like several of the features of the grill, but there are a few items I'm still getting used to or think could be improved. I have an earlier version of this grill that has a small, refillable propane tank for the starter. Changing to the disposable propane tank and the electronic ignition is a really good improvement. I'm still getting use to the removable center grate in the grill; I may like it once I get used to it, but right now I'm not sure. Having the hanging position for the grate on the opposite side of the grill is not convenient and the "hooks" for utensils are a little bit too wide so I can't hang my existing utensils on them. Overall, I'm happy with the grill, but due to weather I haven't had the opportunity to use it very much yet.

This is my second Performer grill !!for a total of 12 years I've enjoyed grilling on this model. Many happy meals enjoyed with family and friends. Can't go wromg with Weber !!!

I've been a griller and own quite a few grills. I decided to upgrade my Weber Kettle - and was this the best decision I ever made! The best feature: The gas-assist charcoal starter. Put your charcoal chimney in the bottom of the grill. Pop the button - and presto - your charcoal is being started. It's uses the little camping type propane bottles. It sounds like a mini torch…there's so much direct flame getting to the coals. After about 3-4 minutes….(you) turn the gas assist off…and coals are ready in about 10 minutes. This feature works fast! The kettle in the cart is quite nice. Janette work surface to set plates etc. The storage below or the pull out charcoal bin….all makes grilling easier. The roll off and holds the lid mechanism…again, a really nice feature. You just slide the grill over to the side….it tucks into a basket like area…in a split second…..ans easier than trying to tip the lid more…find that old style interior tab, to hang on the side of the kettle. Cooking performance: What else is there to say: It's the same tried and true Weber kettle design cook. It's the best around forever, in charcoal style cooking.

Over all a good product. Only real issue is the ash pan under kettle. Those two notches that hold the pan are very narrow and don't line up with the notch on each side. I had to bend them around to get them to hold the pan in place.

I had a Performer that I got rid of several years ago (that I had for 10+ years but I left it outside and did not cover it. Rust finally made it unusable.) I went a different brand/style/direction for a replacement and instantly regretted my decision, it had ZERO air control even after I added high temp BBQ Gasket. I hated it so much I bascically stopped grilling. I had the new Performer delivered and assembled for free by Amazon less than a month ago. Immediately did a maiden burn (with no food) to burn off any manufacturing gunk, then used it later that same day for dinner. Love it! When it was cooled off that night I wiped her down and put the cover on. I won't encourage this one to an early demise. Have been grilling several times per week... need to pick up more charcoal soon!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
