A part was broken in the box. I am told it is on back order with no known date for the replacement. How is this possible? I have received multiple emails telling me I need to reply or the issue will be considered resolved. It feels like AI is running customer service. Help!

Have been very pleased with this grill. Like design and features. Have not had a lot of chances to use it yet due to planned and unplanned travel, but looking forward to cooking more dishes and meals, and learning how to better use this grill's features. One quibble: No way to tie down the cover; wind kept blowing it off. Using long bungee cords to secure cover to the cart, but tie down grommets or loops would have been a useful design element.

This my third Performer Grill and the first thing that I bought for our new home after full-time traveling through the US and Canada for three years. I can now, after saying goodbye to my underperforming gas travel grill, happily grill, smoke, plank and take advantage of living in a hunter/gatherer region of SW Washington. I almost exclusively use lump coal or clean, hot coals and a mix of wood chips for flavor. With the gas assist for lighting the coal I'm ready in 15 - 20 minutes to put dinner on to the grate, in the wok or in a pan of oil for frying. It's just a great and versatile grill.

Bought this at a discount, was the last box in store and the box was damaged in one corner. When I opened the box, I realised that the grill grate was slightly damaged and the table top has a minor cracked. I opened a warranty case with Weber and in 10 min total (including waiting time on the phone), everything was set, just need to send picture by email. The claim was so easy and now I have spare parts for when the broken part will be completely unusable. A+++++ for customer support. Otherwise, I like this BBQ, it does an amazing sear on steaks and burgers and the flavor is a plus vs my old propane BBQ and the propane starter make it so easy to light the briquet! I still haven't smoke any pieces yet, but I will definitely try this summer!

The grill is easy to use with a number of helpful features, such as the lid holder. I like the table part beside the cooking surface.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
