I didn't think the propane igniter was going to make much of a difference but it is much easier and cleaner than using lighter fluid. I also think the food tastes a little better not using lighter fluid. This is a great option for those who love the ease of a gas grill but the flavor of charcoal.

Had to leave my 1st performance grill behind during a relocation. Have purchased and used my 2nd one several times already. It is just as good if not a little bit better!

I love the wheel system and the ease of moving it around the patio on windy days. The propane starting system has eliminated safety and health issues associated with use of charcoal lighter fluid or a chimney device for ignition of charcoal.

I had the much older version of this grill which served me for many years. I like the improvements. It's easier to use and remove ash.

Best of both worlds: charcoal with propane starter. It takes a little more time than my comparable gas Genesis to be ready to cook, but it is worth the wait.

Best charcoal grill to date. My family has owned a previous gen of the current model, every part lasted 11 years and still going strong, so they got me this to keep the tradition and sticking with charcoal. I've used to numerous times in the past month and even used it to smoke meat, it's not very hard regulating the temp. Like any grill, you have to clean and give it some TLC, I'll check back in 10 years to say it's still holding up.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
