This Weber Performer Deluxe is definitely an upgrade from my previous Weber grills. The temperature management is outstanding. It may take a little to get the hang of it. If you want to take bbq skills to the next level get this kettle.

I have now owned this grill about 2 yrs and have cooked many a meal on this unit! Sometimes 3-4x/week. The charcoal Bin, the igniter and the top hinged grate and removable center really give you flexibility. If I had to do over again, i would still purchase this unit. When i smoke on the WSM, i put the Performer next to it to use the table!

I just threw away my second Performer Deluxe. I thought perhaps the first one was a dud, so I tried again. The concept is great. The cart is solid. The actual metal grill is junk. On the first fire the charcoal grate sagged due to heat. Eventually I simply got in the habit of turning it over periodically - before having to replace it. The cooking grate began to rust within the first year. What was ultimately frustrating however is that the cooking grate is held up by four very weak metal tabs. They're nowhere near the same gage metal as the kettle itself. Eventually (on both grills I owned) they began either to sag, or as on the current grill simply rusted off leaving no support for the cooking grate. I didn't expect a lifetime grill, but to see a product including low quality grates and clearly weak support for the grates is very disappointing. I think the old saying goes something like fool me once shame on you - fool me twice shame on me.

Mesquite barbecue is the best. We gave up barbecuing with propane because it offered little over oven cooking. Enter the Performer Deluxe Weber grill. The propane lighter makes it easy to light the Mesquite. The taste of Salmon, steaks, hamburgers etc is phenomenal. This grill is a real winner.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
