I got it primarily for the large shelf area. I have not been disappointed by the grill. I found a spot to hanger the grate, but don't know where to put the separate center part of the grate. Currently I hang it by a piece of wire from one of 3 hooks. Propane starter is nice to have.

Works great. Had an issue with a leaking regulator when first started. I contacted Weber and they sent me a replacement unit within a few days at no cost and no hassle. I am very satisfied with this product.

Love it! The added features of the performance models are a game changer. I was hesitant about the gas starter, but it rocks! It works surprisingly well, getting coals ready fast. It's great to have the workspace of the table top and just to be able to put things down, rest your tools or your beer, etc. The fittings are solid, and the unit put together nicely and snug. Seems like it will last a long time.

I've had my Weber Performer for probably 15 years, easily. It's not push-button, it's got a knob thats worn off. Still works. The only thing I have had to replace is the coal tins. Thats it!! This grill holds up very, very well. And, even though I have a new high dollar pellet grill, I will never get rid of this grill. Well, maybe if it finally quits, but even then I would get this newer model. I've smoked, grilled, barbequed, all of it on this grill. It really is an all around "get'er done" grill. The table is awesome as you always have trays and platters of foods. The coal bin is convenient. I've never poured the coals in it, always just stored the bag and the extra gas cans in there. The lid holder is super convenient. With the gas, you can have charcoals ready to go in almost the same amount of time it takes to get a gas grill up and running. You buy this grill, you won't be disappointed.

Pushed off my 24" high patio by a strong series of 30mph wind gusts and fell into the yard. ZERO damage. I call that sturdy. During first use, it achieved 518 degrees F at the grate without being in a flare-up. Lump charcoal can actually be extinguished by closing all vents and the lid allowing for additional uses.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
