So convenient to have the charcoal right with the grill. The grill, of course, works like a charm as a grill, but surprisingly smokes better than my smoker! Just set up the coals in a "snake" and let it do it's thing.

My 20+ y/o performer deluxe finally rusted through its bottom. The new version is SO much more cheaply made. Thinner steel, cheap tubing frame, no place to hang the cooking grate, uses disposable gas bottles instead of the 10 pound refillable bottle, that goofy cooking grate with the hole in the middle is good for nothing except selling accessories and the middle part is really good a falling out on the ground if you're not careful. Disappointed in Weber and there is NO WAY this one will last as long as my last one, but maybe that's the idea. The only improvement is the electronic gas starter.

What can I say, I love the Webber Performer! The propane charcoal lighter has become one of my favorite features. The charcoal storage bin is handy. I really like being able to adjust the dampers by indexing below the draft handle. Easy to assemble.

I have used Weber Grills for almost 50 years, and this one is the best! I love the convenience of the gas starter...no more starter fluid! And, this grill is easy to move when I want to, the wheels allow it to roll smoothly and the locks on the small wheels really hold it in place.

Outstanding performance! Takes your meal to another level. It has met my expectations. The convenience of the large table, lower shelf, utility hooks coupled with the capability and stableness of the grill shows the dedication of Weber to produce top notch products. Not only are their products above par but the customer service staff goes above and beyond. I was missing a couple of parts, they overnighted the parts. The part that wasn't in stock, should ship today, customer service representative called me to informed me.

I'd like to start by saying that I grew up as a little boy, watching my dad grill on his big red kettle Weber grill. I have personally been using Weber grills and products myself for 35 years now. I had previously bought another performer before this one and I wore it out. Being from Wisconsin we even Grill in 20 below weather, and that particular grill worked flawlessly. Unfortunately, I can't say the same thing about this particular grill. I should've reported it sooner but I figured since I had used the grill several times it was too late. First of all this grill came to me with the box looking like it had fallen off the truck… When I opened it my dad was there to assist me and he even said, why does everything look like it's just been thrown in this box… It had the appearance like it had been purchased, attempted to be assembled and then returned. Several of the screws were stripped and never fit properly. I did call the Weber company and they sent me replacement screws right away… But the screws never fit in properly. The lid has never fit correctly. When I go to cover the grill I have to almost force it down on top of it. And even when I have the lid completely over the grill you can tell it's not a proper fit. I understand things happen and I've always been happy with the Weber quality and customer support and I'm always buying the Weber accessories whenever I can because of how well they're built… But this grill definitely deserves less than one star. Would I discourage you from buying a weber product… Absolutely not. I would just advise you to use your due diligence and make sure that you're getting the product that you paid for. As I said before, this unit has been a mess from the start.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
