This unit perfects any complaint I ever had about my base model 22" kettle I ran for over a decade. The propane assist to light the charcoal is worth every penny. It makes lighting leftover charcoal from a previous cook a breeze. Or if you run a vortex for all kinds of chicken cooks (and you really should) it's in the perfect spot to light that up every time. I have it hooked up to a 20lb tank. The heavy duty stainless grate is excellent! The lid holder rocks! The side table is useful. The charcoal hopper is great to store a bag at all times. No more running to the garage to grab charcoal every time. Love the copper color! I'm hoping this is the last grill I ever own…..unless Weber comes out with a 26" performer! If they do……take my money! Like the title says…this is the best backyard grill ever made that anyone could reasonably afford.

I have used both charcoal and gas weber grills for over 50 years. This unit is the best one yet. The propane lighter is a great addition. However, according to the assembly instructions, the match stick holder should be located behind the "WEBER' logo on the grill. It was not. It is actually located behind the gas control panel / behind the timer panel. Not at all useable.

This is our third performer over the past 25 years. We recently moved and left our old one for the new owners, a young couple. I hope they love it as much as we did. Now we have this new copper beauty. The scent of charcoal wafting through a neighborhood is so nostalgic.

Came with damaged parts which made assembly impossible. Also did not come with any assembly instructions either.

I've had the weber performer deluxe about 2 months now. I like features on the charcoal grill: Easy charcoal lighting with the propane starter, grill baskets for direct or in-direct grilling, grates with removable center, storage for charcoal. I bought a cast iron searing grate for it and it does a wonderful job at searing and cooking steaks. I've cooked chicken wings, chicken and pork on it so far. Plan on cooking pizza this summer as well as beer can chicken. Weber makes great products!!

The table has to be the best thing, but also the worst thing. My other Weber table rusted. I hope this one lasts a little longer than the last one. Table should be stainless steal…..

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
