Great grill. Use it for hot and fast or low and slow. I've had them all: charcoal, pellet, ceramic, gas. In the end the Weber kettle reigns as king. Learn how to use it and nothing will compare.

I've owned my original Kettle for over a decade and it has been a dependable workhorse. The obvious piece missing from a kettle is a work space. The performer certainly takes care of that. Couple that with a bin for charcoal and plenty of storage space and you have the ultimate charcoal grill set up. Looks great and provides you with everything you need for a great grilling experience.

I have used the grill several times now. I average at least twice per week. It works well with the gas used to start the charcoal and a small amount of charcoal can be used (for example to cook hamburgers). The air can be cut off to preserve unused charcoal for the next cook. There are a couple of issues as noted by others. One is that there are two bolts that penetrate the kettle (to hold the lid). These bolts can get in the way of placing the grill. The second issue is the round piece that allows different inserts to be used. That piece will not stay in place when you hang the grill from the holder on the side, so I put it on top of the table (the table is great btw). I am considering just getting one of the grills without that "feature."

As expected this grill is well built. I love it. It's replacing a Weber deluxe that is 20 yrs old. I'm not disappointed! It will last just as long as my old Weber.

This grill has an extremely sturdy frame and is extremely well machined. I have put together a lot of grills and this grill went together perfectly. All the hardware lined up without having to forcefully adjust screws/nuts/bolts/frame of grill. There were even nut plates welded in hard to reach places which allowed for ease of installing. No trying to squeeze your fingers/hands into a tight space along with s wrench which you probably couldn't even move the wrench to tightrn the nut anyways. Grill so far has maintained excellent temperature and consistent every time.

Bought this grill so I'd have a second Weber to supplement my basic kettle when cooking for large groups. Now it's my primary. The lp gas starter is GREAT! Really saves time. The removable center section of the grill surface is a pain, though. (That's the only reason I didn't give 5-stars.) It falls out easily when storing during the lighting process, and is difficult to replace with tongs if it's hot. I may buy another regular 22" grill surface.

Everything I ever wanted in a charcoal grill, nice table top to rest things on, handy charcoal bin, lid holder, under table storage, charcoal lighter, a versatile grill to name a few. Nice small touches like the plastic handle on the air vent so I do not need a mitt to adjust it.. My only gripe is that the lid holder bolts go through the kettle and can catch the edge of the grill when replacing the grill in the kettle. It took a while to assemble, but it was easy to do following the instructions. Wish I had bought it years ago instead of continuing to use my Weber Original Premium Grill. Yes, I would definitely recommend this grill.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight.
