I enjoy this grill the only downside or challenges is that the gas assist would be fantastic if it were T-shaped. It does not light the half moon baskets well. I know I know - that all say use a chimney starter but that is an extra step that could easily be eliminated. Listen up head of design - five stars if that happens.

I've had this grill now for almost a year, replacing one of the original performers that lasted me such a long time. Still a great concept, and I had high hopes for the switch to the small coleman style propane tanks from the mini OPD refillable tank. However, when I turn off the flame, there continues to be a small amount of gas coming from the bottle to the burner, not enough to keep the flame alive in the kettle, but enough to keep a small flame alive in the gap where the safety clip is positioned. Weber sent me a new set of parts when I alerted them about this, but even with the new parts, the same thing happens. I have to remove the bottle from the grill after every use. Not catastrophic, but annoying.

Customer Service was able to get me working quickly! Great Job! Grill is best out there. Gas start for charcoal is the only way to go. Will be grilling some RIb Eye and Flat Irons tomorrow in freezing weather its so good!

My friend bought one several years ago and he said that the bottle for lighting the charcoal leaked down and i bought mine and the same thing.i have been a Weber guy for 30 years....

I bought this grill and have used it at least 3 times a week. The igniting feature is worth the extra $! The metal table top makes it great to place your food while you put it on the grill and hold the plate while you take it off. And also makes a great place to set your favorite beverage while grilling away

I bought this as an additional grill to my gas grill as I wanted the option of a charcoal grill. I am so glad I chose this Performer Deluxe as the propane starting option is wonderful. This is my first kettle grill since growing up as a kid and I wish I hadn't have waited so long. The cleaning mechanism is clean and simple and the cooking is perfect. I have enjoyed adding optional grates to the grill and I smoked a turkey on a grill this past thanksgiving for the first time and it was perfect! I even went and replaced my gas grill with a Weber 330 and love them both! If you're on the bubble about buying this I highly recommend this or any Weber as the quality and customer service are second to none!

I had to move across country (San Francisco Bay to Tampa Bay) in order to afford myself this "complete Weber package", Performer Deluxe Charcoal Grill 22". With "postage stamp" back yards in SF and everything rush, rush, rush, a gas grill was considered optimal- space and time savings. The BBQ dinners also tasted like you saved space and time...literally taking the fun out of being BBQ chef. Now in Tampa Bay, with backyards a family can truly enjoy, being a BBQ chef is once again a point of pride. Relaxed pace, our Weber the social point for all to chat around and, of course, advise how to best BBQ dinner. This is one time too many cooks don't spoil the dinner. Not only easy to operate and clean-up afterwards, this grill is designed to allow for repeated use of the briquettes! Employing different wood chips adds a notable flavor enhancement, to the surprise and delight of quests . I 'm proud to once again be a BBQ Chef with my Weber Performer Deluxe Charcoal Grill 22"

I have been using this grill for one year and each time I use it I like it a little more. The gas igniter makes it almost as easy to cook with charcoal as using a gas grill.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
