My wife bought me this grill to replace another rectangular non-Weber brand charcoal grill. I was unsure about the propane lighter function and after wasting coals five times I went back to using my chimney starter. The gas lighter which is $50 more than the non-gas lighter model is useless. It just does not burn the coals hot enough. I tried brand new coals, leaving the burner on longer but nothing worked.

I bought it a few months ago. It's not cheep but I am so glad I splurged and got it. There are so many great products created and sold to enhance this grill. Free assembly by Ace Hardware.

We have had a WEBER Q for several years but missed the charcoal grill last and experience. We chose our Performer Deluxe because of the propane gas ignition for its convenience. We haven't looked back since. This is a super grill, cooking out with it is a wonderful and easy experience. Our experience with customer service has been great too!

Had a Classic Performer with the stainless steel top. It rusted out and i bought a second gen version with the composite top. Now I've purchased a third Performer. A Gen III. This one has all the bells and whistles. Timer, bin and two piece top grate. Though I just bought this a couple of weeks ago, I've gone through an entire bin of charcoal already! Bought a nice vinyl cover on eBay for it, and will be purchasing the vegetable insert for the grate next. Only bummer about the newest version is a formed steel top that replaced the composite top. Looks like it will dent easily and perhaps rust with time. It's not the cool stainless top as the Gen I. Still, it is the best one I've owned yet!

i love the grill all of the features are awesome, i only gave it for stars becues if you don't take the propane bottle out it loses all it gas.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
