I bought this grill over a year ago. I use it almost every weekend. Super easy to clean, really easy to control the temperature, the igniter is one of the best in entions ever. I just put my chimney full of coals rifht over the igniter fire, and let it heal up on its own. Only recommendation I have is for Weber to maybe include some sort of bottle opener.

I bought the Performer Deluxe to replace an old 22" grill that I gave to a friend. The old grill still performed like it just came out of the box, but I wanted to upgrade. The new set up has everything in one place. I especially like the propane fired starter. I still use a Weber Chimney, but using the propane lighter versus newspaper or Weber starter cubes gets the fire going much faster. I can be cooking in 10 minutes now and there is no mess or residue left over under the chimney.

I don't want a gas grill. I love the taste of food grilled over charcoal and have owned Weber grills over the years with the problem of lighting the coals. But this grill lights with the touch of a button and the coals are literally hot within 60-90 seconds. It sits out back on my patio and we use it regularly. A GREAT grill!

We just purchased the Performer Deluxe, which should be called Super Deluxe. This is our 2nd Performer and it is the only way to barbecue with charcoal. The flavor you get is just phenomenal. You will be missing the true meaning of barbecue by not having this grill.

I've been fighting a Beef Eater gas grill for the past 17 years and finally got rid of it in a move. To replace it, we purchased a Weber Performer. I've been wanting one of these for a long time. I've used it several times now and am reacquainting myself with using charcoal. I LOVE IT! It is well designed and engineered - far superior to my first kettle. The thought and quality of workmanship is evident everywhere I look on this unit. If a hurricane blew my gasser and Performer away I'd by the replacement Performer first. We use it on our Lanai in Florida as it is so easy to move in and out of its storage area. The ash bucket is another outstanding feature of this grill. Very well thought out design. I've already used it as a smoker and it performed perfectly, as expected. Temperature regulation was important and it did that as expected, or better.

Received first Weber grill 57 years ago as a wedding present! Have not had or used any other since. This is the fifth Weber we've had, and it's great. The only negative is that gas cylinder is too small...it runs out very quickly.

This is a really nice Charcoal Grill. The lighter works fast. The Charcoal bin is perfect for the big costco-size bag, and the closed ash catcher is way better then the old tray I had. It would be nice if it has a small compartment for the burner cleaner.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
