I have spent the last couple of years researching charcoal bbq's and always came back to the performer deluxe model. I really like the propane burner to get the charcoal started without having to use any other forms of chemical fire starters. As this is my first Weber and still quite new, I can't yet comment on the long term quality. As of now, I'm very happy with this purchase. Other family members and friends have shown interest in also purchasing the same model after seeing mine and tasting the results. Thanks Weber

We have owned our Weber "Performer - Silver" for more than 20 years. It has served us beautifully right up to the present. The old girl is showing her year's now, but the cart is still intact and operable. The kettle has gotten to the point where I can no longer clean it, but after 20 years of faithful service, I'm not complaining. I hope that I can replace the just the kettle and we can keep on trucking. This is the best charcoal grill on the market. I have made everything on this grill including Thanksgiving Turkey ... many times. It comes out looking like a magazine ad. Just beautiful and so flavorful too. It is easier to make a whole turkey on this grill than in the oven! Put it on, cover it, and add coals every hour til done. The poppers come out on time, every time. No guesswork. The grill maintains even heat and the extra coals are a snap to add with the hinged grill. What a blessing this grill has been to us. Bought each of our kids one as a wedding present too!

I bought the Copper Performer Deluxe at the beginning of May and it is easy to assemble. Love it so far however the igniter worked 1 time and then failed. And finding the replacements for it is not easy, so still searching. At this price point, I would've expected a better igniter system.

This is my third performer grill. I absolutely love it! My current one is three years old and I will probably buy a forth one in a year or two. However, I have my grill on my pool deck. Again, this is my third one and they are all Blue!! Looks great with the pool! I don't want a black, green or copper one on my pool deck!!! Please add a blue (even aqua) color for those of us who keep their grills on their pool decks! I'm sure their are thousands of us. Thank You!!!

It just arrived today. I gathered up my tools,opened the box,and lo and behold, the leg frame bracket is broken. I called and the lady that I talked to was very helpful. She apologized and is sending me new ones. I didn't order it thru Weber,but the place that has 2 day delivery. I was hoping to use it this weekend. Alas I'll have to wait 7 to 10 days till parts arrive. Shame I have to have the box in the house till then. I'm kind of disappointed at the initial quality. I only removed three pieces from the box,and one is broke. No damage to the box, but broken components. I've owned other weber grills in the past,and this is a replacement for my favorite one so far. It served me for twenty years flawlessly. Well except for replacing grill and charcoal grates. I'm looking forward to getting this one together and trying out the gas ignition system. Hopefully this one will give me twenty plus years of service. When I do,I'll write another review. This one is the first impression out of the box. Also, the 800 number in the manual should be a little more prominent in the font size to make it easier to find for calling support.

I have owned all types of grills and smokers, including pellet and ceramic. The Performer Deluxe is hands down the best I have ever worked with. The gas assist makes it so convenient, its well worth the extra money. High quality product! Don't hesitate

I love that I can cook with lumpwood charcoal because the flavour in the food makes my guests envious of this unique Webber bbq. Using a mini propane tank just long enough to lite up the charcoal and letting the flame build up is a work of art, with the natural smoked flavour and aroma seeping out of the finished food as the final product is second to none.

Easy to use. Try with charcoal and also hickory. Nice smoky taste. Easy to clean. Also bought centre cast iron grill.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
