I use this all year round. Love the ease of use. Easy cleaning and the features are great. The cover holder. The open center of the grate. One touch cleaning. Love the one handed hold to take off drip pan. I do have to add. The cover handle screws r not big enough and are flimsy, especially the hollow aluminum washers. For the upgrade on quality the handle needs an upgrade.

The gas lighter feature is top notch. Gone are the fluid and chimney hassles. Now, the ash catcher is a total failure. I have arthritis in my hands, and I cannot easily empty the ashes. I called Weber, and they sent me a "new and improved" ash catcher assembly, but is was the exact same as the one that came with the product. I'll have to figure out some other way to capture the ashes, as I cannot work the existing assembly. MAJOR disappointment Weber. You need to fix this. It's the only thing that is holding this product back.

Own three performers now (one set up for rotisserie, one set up for Vortex wings, and one set up with Slow and Sear). Love the table space, the charcoal ignition system, and the ease of use. Also have two upper deck grill risers for more usable grilling space.

This is my 3rd Weber charcoal grill and couldn't be happier. Very impressed with the charcoal ignition system - no more chimney and paper. Nice to have the grill-side table/work area for condiments and adult beverages. Ash catcher is a tremendous safety feature. Nothing grills better than Weber!!!

Great addition to my 2 other weber grills! Gas ignition system is very handy and easy to use. I really like the work table next to the grill. Crimson color is beautiful!

This is our second Performer will use nothing else because no one can measure up to the high quality that Weber puts in there charcoal grills. BTW our last Performer model lasted over 10 years of heavy grilling more than twice a week. My wife cooks everything on the grill and is truly a pit master.

I have always used a Weber, and this time decided to spend the extra for the instant igniter. It worked great the first year, but I haven't been able to get it working since. Save your money and stick with the chimney.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
