This is second Perfomer Deluxe I have owned. Only reason I needed a new one was we moved cross country and I did not want to move a 15 year old grill. Like the new one as well as the first.

I went back to Weber after trying several other grills over the yrs and Weber our cooks any grill on the market. I'm already looking to go bigger and add to me collection. And who doesn't wax their grill when it's raining.

Our previous grill lasted two decades and the new one is much improved. Gone is the 1-gallon propane tank replaced by the small propane canister and lights easily. The heat retention of the is superb. I can't say I like the new grill with the removable center. The grill is heavier than the old one. If there were a way to hang the grill on the side somewhere that would have been nice. I also don't care for the the three knobs to hang utensils; mine do not have any cords so the knobs are useless. Overall, the unit is still the best in my experience for charcoal grilling.

This was a gift. I was previously using a Weber propane grill. I wanted to have more flavor during the smoking process, so we switched back to using charcoal. It's a very nice unit. One of the newer features is the propane gas charcoal lighter. It's efficient, and the charcoals are able to burn on their own after 5 minutes of assist from the propane starter. I like to cook my steaks at about 375 degrees. I seem to need more charcoal than expected. I will close the lid dampners to control the smoking affect and the air dampners below to control the cooking temperatures. I have had to make my own markings for air dampner positions to indicate slight, 1/2, and fullly closed. I'm able to get medium rare 2" steaks but will use the higher temperatures to get a nice charcoal seared appearance. This might be fun.. Thanks.

This is my second Performer and I am thrilled with the updates. The ignition works better, the countertop is stylish and functional, the slot to hold the grill during prep is a great feature. And the food tastes great. Highly recommended.

My wife surprised with this grill as an early anniversary gift and I think it had been one of the best gifts she has ever gotten me. I love cooking on it and can't believe how much of a difference the cart table has made for me. Before with my old kettle grill I was always looking for a place to sit everything and now problem solved. I highly recommend this grill to anyone wanting to step their grilling game, this is the grill.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
