Customer Reviews
I made back ribs last night and they turned out perfect. doing some wings and lamb skewers tomorrow night.
I bought this two months ago and have grilled out most everyday since. This was my first grill ever and I researched it extensively before buying. I have no regrets about purchasing it. The electric ignition button is a great feature. Granted it will probably die out at some point (thinking reaulistically) but until it does, it makes coal lighting so my easier. The grill retains heat well and is easy to clean. A huge plus is having the spacious counter attached to it. You place everything you need to cook right there next to it. I don't use the included timer. No particular reason, I just use my phone. If the timer were Bluetooth (which I suspect will come) then it would be the complete package. But it's definitely not a deal breaker
The flavor of cooking with charcoal is so much better that gas and the grill is really easy to use. We had a weber when we were first married and used it for over 30 years until a leg became detached. We then went to gas grills. We had forgotten how great the food tastes with a Weber.
Ventured into charcoal many years ago and gave up quickly. Went through a bunch of crummy propane grills that rusted out and decided to give charcoal another go. I'll never be going back to propane. This thing is amazing. I've been grilling 4-5 nights a week since I've had it. The propane ignition system is excellent. My mother had a bad taste in her mouth about charcoal. She's loved everything I've invited them over for. I ordered the grill off of amazon and there was a defect I didn't notice until about a month in. There was cracking in the enamel/powdercoating on the lid. Weber lived up to their reputation for customer service. After calling in and sending a pic via email I received a notification within a half of an hr saying a new lid was on the way. Bottom line... If you're thinking about this grill get it. You won't regret it.
I owned the previous version of this for about 20 years. Loved it to death, but the weather finally took its toll on the cart, tho the grill was still cooking to perfection. I got the new one as a birthday/Father's day gift from the Mrs. Very pleased. There are 2 items that keep it from being 'perfect' in my eyes. As was mentioned by another, getting the ash bin to disconnect is a bit more of a challenge than the older version. The older version was just lift and slide to remove.. this one needs a firm grip to squeeze the handle together to get it through the slot to remove. May have to resort to some pliers as I get older. The second 'issue' is the mount for the gas cannister. It uses a standard Coleman type can and I don't believe they can be refilled. I'm not thrilled about resorting to throw-away containers anymore ( okay.. maybe the carbon footprint I'm generating from heating cow does more damage than an extra half gallon metal cylinder every few months .. guilty ), still, the old version with the refillable tank worked perfectly fine, and less waste. A plus over the previous version is the built in timer. Really enjoying that. The coal bin holds a full 20lb bag of Kingsford. ( there is no other, right? ) The included accessories ( coal trays for smoking/indirect cooking ) and removable center section have got me thinking about trying some new things, too. Even with the glitches I still love this grill.

I'm bought this a couple of months ago and I'm so happy with this grill.
I got this grill early this spring. It took a little while to get the cooking times dialed in but once I got used to it, I have enjoyed it. Customer service was great as well
I needed to replace my 20 year old 18" Weber kettle and decided to go large. There is quite a bit more room for entertaining. We had 10 guests over this past weekend and they raved about the hamburgers we grilled. Looking forward to cedar planking some salmon and smoking some ribs soon!
Great grill replaced a grill i had for 10 years and love this new grill.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
