Better than I expected - the fire starter coupled with the charcoal trays allows for extreme convenience, even being able to fire up the grill last minute for lunch, dinner, reheating leftovers or whatever, and ability to control heat for both searing and smoking. Not to mention very attractive and the tabletop creates a great work surface. The only grill you'll ever need.

For years we have debated convenience of gas vs flavor/tradition of charcoal. The Performer Deluxe gets us significantly closer to "best of both worlds". Easy and quick to get coals started (and less smoke than chimney starter). Coals consistently burn smoothly. Shelf (for platters) and bin for charcoal are great design. features. Timer pops out of holder too easily and chain to hold a match (in case gas starter doesn't work) is unnecessary.

The small propane starter makes this a breeze to use and the extra storage lets you keep everything you need in one spot. I thought about another gas grill but this is the best of both worlds. Love It!

Bought this for a patio. We have a gas grill on the deck a floor above the patio. The gas ignition is a nice feature and starts the coals quickly. Cooking is typical of a charcoal grill. Everything about the grill is very nice. Food cooks nicely.

Got this grill for my birthday. Easy to put together, really solid construction, and cooks beautifully. The propane igniter is such a wonderful feature.

I love my new grill! This grill makes using charcoal a snap! Love the gas that ignites the charcoal. I'm ready to cook in 20 mins! No mess, no chimney, NO lighter fluid! Charcoal stores in the attached bin. Plus it's so pretty in bronze color. Highly recommend

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
