I've had nothing but Weber grills for decades, including this, my second Performer. I love its capacity to both grill and smoke. HOWEVER, some new design elements were created by someone who doesn't grill. Example: instead of being installed at an angle so that it can be seen by someone sitting close to it, the thermometer on the new model sits flat on the dome top. So, to check the temperature, you have to get up and stand directly over the kettle top. Stupid. Also, the timer has never worked properly. On the few occasions i've managed to reset it to zero, it was total happenstance. Sometimes it resets itself, which is appreciated, but it NEVER can be reset by simply pushing the two buttons as indicated.

The grill is fantastic. I love how easy it is to empty the ashes. The side prep table and the propane charcoal starter is a great addition. The only complaint I would have is that if you use it for smoking, the charcoal needs to be on the left side of the grill and the grate openings on the lid need to be on the right side for airflow. This leaves the temp gauge directly over the hot coals, giving an inaccurate reading of the average temp in the grill.

There are so many great things about this grill like: gas assist start, metal table top, lid cradle, temp gage, etc. I'm not a fan of the charcoal trays. It puts the heat to close to the grill. I prefer to use my chimney and spread out the charcoal.

I love everything about it! no more lighter fluid no chimney and newspapers to get it started. It's easy to clean it's easy to cook on. The charcoal ben the table top!! Awesome grill well done Webber

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
