Weber has to get there company in line and stop putting out sub standard finishes on there lids and bowls. Youtube has alot of videos on the 70th series with poor quality of the lid and bowl combo. I like to see these limited runs of colors and sizes but the paint process is very poor. You are aware of this and it has to stop. You have a quality product when its done right but this hit and miss method is not working. I wish i bought the 26 Glen Blue but i missed out and the 22 Limited Edition Red. I wish you would come out with a limited 18 size.

It has great looks (5-star) - we chose the yellow. The assembly was not straightforward - took 1.5 hours for a very handy person. The screws did not line up well with holes. The main reason for taking off stars are: 1. The lid is not flush with the kettle and wobbles a lot. I tried reaching out to Weber Customer Service twice by email and received no response. 2. This is big: NO hook/handle under the lid to hang it from the side of the kettle!! Stupidly, I only realized that after it was assembled, or I would have returned it. We have a limited area to work in and this space-saving hack is important. I can't understand why it was left off the 70th anniversary edition.

The bottom vent was factory installed incorrectly (backward or 120 degrees off) prior to shipment, so as a result the vents are open when it indicates closed and fully closed when it indicates open. Not a big enough deal to completely disassemble and correct, but still annoying. Otherwise I couldn't be more pleased! Beautiful kettle, best yet!

Did my first cook on the kettle last night. Ribeye Caps came out perfect. The 70th Anniversary Kettle looks amazing. Would recommend it for anyone looking to get a new kettle.

Weber 70th Anniversary Charcoal Grill, so far so good. Went together good, all parts and no damage was found. The color is great too, look forward to firing it up for its first run.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
