This grill is pretty great, but there are a few design flaws. If you set a temperature for the grill to rise to, it will heat up considerably hotter than the set temp before the temp sensor catches up and signals the grill to slow the fan down. Also, meat fluids and oil leak out of the bottom and onto the grill legs. Otherwise, this thing is great and very convenient if you have a stable supply of electricity. If the power goes out, your cook will not continue because without the fan, there is not enough heat moving into the cook area.

This is an outstanding grill/smoker. Heats up fairly quick and does a great job. Plenty of room for multiple foods at the same time. Hopefully, this will last more than a few years unlike the cheaper grills. Nothing like charcoal flavoring. Have only had this for a couple months so far, but it is getting a lot of use.

We purchased our Masterbuilt 800 November 2022. I've had to replace the controller few months ago and now the blower quit working a couple of days ago. The grill is awesome to use but has cheap electronics so I won't buy another one. I'm going to replace the blower fan and try to sell it.

The gravity makes cooking with charcoal and wood a breeze! The flavor is fantastic. I came from a pellet grill and the Masterbuilt Gravity is a game changer. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is I wish the burn chamber was more made with better, thicker materials. I bought an after market fix that was easily installed to remedy the issue and hopefully it will help make my Gravity last a long time.

I love my 1050. We bought the rotisserie as well. I would highly recommend this grill/smoker to anyone. It will cook anything, from a brisket to burgers and fajitas.

I purchased this item over a month ago and it does not work. The motor does nothing when plugged in and turned on. I tried different outlets just to verify. I put in a service request and have not heard back in over a month.

I purchased my Gravity Series 1050 in April and started to try and use it in May. We are now in August and it still does not work. First we replaced parts that Masterbuilt sent us and then the store we bought it from and who assembled the grill tried to fix it and it still does not work. We finally gave up and are getting a refund from the store we purchased it from. They are recommending that we do not purchase another one as they have another customer experiencing the same issues with this model. They are suggesting buying the model one size smaller, but I do not know if I feel confident enough in Masterbuilt to do that.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
