Just tried using rotisserie for the first time, motor turns 90 degrees and reverses. Customer support for Masterbuilt sucks- you cant call only way to get help is by email and if you are lucky they respond in 5 days. Unfortunate that customer support sucks because the grills are good.

This is a great grill accessory. Works as described. Cooks the crust very evenly in 3 to 5 minutes. After reading some other reviews I'd like to figure out if you can order extra stone inserts though.

Terrible quality would not recommend. Unit came out of the box with missing paint and rust. I'm highly concerned with the long term reliability. If it wasn't so big a would be taking it back to the store. I hope it last at least a year. I have more faith in my ten year old Weber.

This is great grill/smoker. Assembly was fairly easy if you follow the instructions. Using it is even easier. Smoked the best brisket I ever have the day after seasoning the 1050

Covers is great quality. I always make sure grill is completely cold before covering but cover is getting pretty tight. Hopefully it doesn't get tighter

I was really excited to get this grill, but after just a year of use, it started to rust. Two years in, it has started rusting in most areas and some of the welds in the hopper have broken free. I've had this grill covered anytime it hasn't been used (the soft cover is actually pretty great). The control panel has a cheap plastic overlay and simply turning it on-and-off 30 times over the past 2 years has caused the cover to break/crack over the power button. The grill throws an error fairly consistently when it's heating up, but luckily that doesn't impact operation -I just have to reset it. It's a great idea and while it still works, the build quality is really cheap and it feels designed not to last. I don't recommend getting this grill. You should just get a better built product (not Masterbuilt). I'm waiting until it fails to get a different grill because it was so expensive. What happened to building a high quality product that lasts?

I still don't have my cover (or griddle) because I'd had it shipped to my hotel when I was visiting Portland. There was a "shopping delay" and customer service said there was no way for them to change the delivery address, so now it's sitting in Portland until I figure out a way to get it.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I bought this contraption/smoker approximately 2 years ago. I was very excited to be able to use charcoal or real chunks and be able to catch some Z's during an all night smoke. upon purchase I had to get missing parts shipped to me that were missing (No big deal). Contacted the warranty dept and they had the parts shipped. THEN, the real problems began. From day 1 the digital display loses connection after every single cook, I have to re-pair the grill to my phone prior to lighting each time. First, the contact that activates when the lid is shut went out causing the smoker to malfunction. By trade I'm an electrician so I thought "no big deal" and fixed it. Next the metal piece that smothers the charcoal in order to put the fire out stopped sliding in and is hitting something so now all the charcoal continues to burn with each use (an issue that has STILL not been resolved). The contact for the fuel chimney and also the one for the ash can door have all misfunctioned or failed. Lastly, and probably most disappointing is the fact that one of the grill grates broke! I gave this product 2 stars because if it worked as intended it would be an amazing product. However that just has not happened.

Ignitor doesn't work, customer service has been slow to help and im not sure how much help they will even be. Im starting to regret buying Masterbuilt, I don't think i could recommend this to anyone in good faith. Even if i do get a new igniter, who knows if I'll be able to replace it, putting this thing together was a pain, the instructions were terrible. The idea is good but unfortunately the execution was a miss.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
