Love my weber. Owned many kettles and recently purchased a slat 30 inch griddle.

I have owned Weber grills my entire adult life almost exclusively (I'm 51). I choose Weber for historically high quality products and this product is no different. I honestly wish a few things were better. I really do not prefer the fold down table: too flimsy and too small. (The other model is WAY too expensive for that convenience). Also, I think Weber should acknowledge that competitors are offering simple mods that improve quality of life without much (or any) expense: Specifically wired thermometer ports and potentially a fan/ temp controller port. All in all, I am satisfied with this product, but I may consider other brands because of my personal perceived better value.

I have a Performer bought in the 80's that I love the cart. So I just bought the new Performer and swapped the kettle s. Really like the new kettle, all the little improvements, heavier grill, heat shield on handle, etc. But the main thing I like is it cooks just like my old kettle. Quality product has proved self over time - almost 30 years of heavy use.

I put an extra charcoal grate on the bottom so coals don't go through it as easy. I also bought a new grill grate heavy duty iron that leaves much better scar marks. Overall, the grill is great quality and will ask for many many years.

Nothing better than the old school charcoal grill! So well made. Sturdy construction and the side table is perfect for my needs. Fold away when not needed but no concerns on it holding my trays of food. I prefer the removable ash can compared to the ash pan. It makes leaning up super easy. The grill is strong and so versatile with the removable center and hinged sides. This is still the grill standard!

Have always considered the Weber kettle to be a good quality and versatile charcoal grill. So far I am not disappointed.

Love my new Premium Weber grill. The side table and storage area under the kettle are great. It is really easy to clean ashes out of this model compared to the regular kettle grill. After assembling the grill I noticed the top did not fit snuggly and it was difficult to regulate the temperature and I was getting flare ups while cooking. I called customer service and explained the situation. They told me how to check to see if the top was "out of round" and to email photos. Just a couple hours after sending the email, on a Friday afternoon, I got a response saying a new top would be shipped to me. I received it within two business days. It fit perfectly and I was immediately back to excellent Weber grilling. Great Customer service!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
