There are some issues with the grill I don't care for and make it challenging to use. The new grate system is terrible, keep dropping the center part out. The screws / bolts for the lid holder get in the way. The ash sweeper was not installed correctly and I had to bend it to get it in the correct position. The tool holder hooks are too small and everything falls off.

Our family used a gas grill for years and missed the charcoal grill so much we went back. The flavor is better cooking with charcoal. We love this grill. The platform is a must and the kid holder. This is much more stable than the classic since we have dogs that keep us company while cooking. I'm not as worried about the grill getting knocked over by a guest or dog.

Wow, what an amazing grilling experience. I have been cooking on gas but have wanted a kettle for years, finally bought one as an early Father's Day and I'm loving it. This kettle holds its temp right where I need it and cooks my chicken, pork, and steaks perfectly. The fold away side tray table is a must and a nice size. If you're on the fence about getting a Weber kettle I would say take the leap you won't regret it one bit.

The solid, stalwart that I remember…I went away from charcoal for a long time, convincing myself that gas was the way to go. I thought it was quicker and easier to use and I was wrong. So I decided to get back into the charcoal game and began the search for a new grill. I considered the ceramic options and the fandoms that go along with them. Then I remembered the memories of the Weber kettle grill that had served me so well early into my grilling days and decided to take a step back to a simpler time where there were no "eggs" or "pellets" and get back to a grill with a proven track record and I have not been disappointed. This grill has been just what I've needed…consistent, reliable heat paired with great flavor make this grill well worth the trade out for the convenience of gas. I won't be going back, give me my Performer over any other.

The ash ring, with all it's little slots and holes is a real pain in the neck for me. When I clean the ashes from the kettle, and if there's the slightest breeze, the ashes blow all over my deck and onto my furniture. To stop this I put a beach towel around one side of the grill to block the wind. Then I use my leaf blower to clean up the mess But, my beer drinking buddies get a kick out of it. It's a lousy design IMO !.

Very easy to put together- the performance is totally as expected of a Weber. This is my 5th Weber at both home & Lake house and the product PERFORMS! Excellent product, product quality & cooking experience.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
