Big Problem with preheating the grill - the charcoal goes out. The instructions tell me to preheat, but after 10 minutes the charcoal is out.

I'm absolutely loving my new Weber Performer Kettle. The plethora of accessories, the fact it's built like an absolute tank. That along with the familiarity of cooking on my previous Webers, were what ultimately drove me to purchasing another one. I've since purchased the charcoal baskets, and the rotisserie for it, and both work like magic and as intended. I really enjoy the ease of emptying the ash catching pan. Very well planned design all the way around. I think my favorite part of cooking on charcoal, is it reminds me of my childhood and the fond memories of my dad firing up his Weber (minus all the lighter fluid and the raging inferno which inevitably ensued of course). Thanks for an awesome and well thought out design and product. Here's to many more years of Weber success. Cheers, Marc Rainville

I wanted to go back to using a charcoal grill and decided on this weber grill.. I'm very happy with it.. Very easy to use and clean. Very well made.. I expect to get many years from it.

I love it. We upgraded to this from the Original Kettle. The larger base, the table, the lid pocket are all great. And it's a little taller which is very nice.

This is my first charcoal grill, and there's a bit of a learning curve that comes with that. This grill seems pretty great, but I wish it had a few features in it that some of the other kettle grills in the price range have. (Probe ports, smoke holes, thermometer over the vent holes, etc…) the shelf is nice and sturdy and it seems to be well constructed. I do wish that the wheels were of a higher quality however.

This Weber Performer 22' Grill is exactly what we were looking for in a charcoal grill. The stand is well designed to allow room for prep and plating. The lid slides off to the side conveniently and smoothly. Ashes fall neatly into a catch basin under the grill. We highly recommend this Weber product.

My Weber Performer Charcoal Grill 22" induces neighbor envy. We've had so many enthusiastic drive-bys telling us how much they like the grill or giving us appreciative exclamations over the delicious smoke when we grill. The reactions are totally reinforced by the ease of using and maintaining the grill. Adding and disposing of the goals is intuitively easy. The racks are strong and I'm enjoying the optional cooking inserts. Love the lid holder. We chose this option versus the deluxe with the coal bin and are extremely happy we did because the shelf folds down on the Pro for easier storage. Following the directions provided, it was easy to assembly on my own at home (49 yr female).

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
