I am a big fan of this grill. It is so versatile. I can smoke indirect, or grill hot and fast. Temp control is so easy with this grill.

This grill comes with a grate that uses the "gourmet" accessories insert. The round insert in the grate center must be removed or will fall out when you remove the grate to start the coals. I think the purchaser should be given a choice of grates when he buys the grill or it should just come with the grate without the gourmet insert as the default.

It leaks water during wet weather into and through the thermometer. When I contacted Weber customer service about this defect, they sent me a new thermometer which did not fix this design defect. I fixed the design defect by purchasing high temperature sealant ant sealing both the face and surrounding metal mount. It no longer leaks during rain. This leaking causes two problems. It fills the thermometer with water, and wets the saved charcoal inside the grill. This wet charcoal fails to adequately light on the next use. This was easily fixed and if you are smart, you will fix this design problem on this model grill. This is all valuable info that I have provided you free of charge.

Great Grill, with only 1 occasional problem. When moving the grill on uneven surfaces, the bottom screen slips out of its grooves (minor bracing issue)…resetting is easy enough. The grill was easy to install with the app! I definitely love the smaller working surface and lid holder. Love the caster wheels for moving back into storage position. All in all, a very good grill and pretty much what I expected. This was a good purchase and I believe the better of the 3 styles. I would recommend this as a solid down-sizer from bigger grills. It's perfect for my wife and I. We are back at the beginners level of grilling, having to relearn charcoal cooking from years of cooking on a pellet feeding grill. I am pleased with this grill. I deem it a great purchase and very good grill product from Weber.

I like the grill's folding table and its ease of maintaining a steady temperature. Unfortunately the grill lid and the movable vent cover and ash sweeper aren't made to fit as tightly as my old 22" grill. Therefore When I finish grilling, the vent covers and lid let in too much air and the coals don't go out quickly. I have to wait a long time before I can store the grill.

I love my old Webers which lasted many years, but this one isn't the same quality of material or design. Box undamaged. Product has defective parts - table bent. Product has defective design - grate on base to small to fit in legs and keeps falling out. Customer service couldn't help or explain why designed to fall apart. Lid catch is sharp and will scratch lid over time. I returned it.

Sometimes the grate catches on the nuts that hold the lid holder in place. Otherwise I love it.

The new grill performs just as guaranteed. I have cooked pork chops and chicken on the grill and both came out perfect. I used a semi indirect method by placing the charcoal around the perimeter at the bottom and putting the meat in the middle. The pork chops were approximately 1 inch thick and it took about 15 minutes to get them to the degree of done this we desired.

I originally learned to grill on a brick backyard BBQ in the 60s. Then my dad bought a Weber Kettle. It changed my life. This is my 4th Kettle grill in the last 40 years. I bought my first in 1985. My son has it now (yes, it's still in service). The second was for my mother in law because she wanted me to grill foods for her when we visited. The third was an update to my first grill because of the one-touch lower vents. This (the 4th) was an update because of the fabulous ash basket (and my son will get the one-touch). This grill does it all and the gourmet grill accessories are an exciting option. Direct, indirect, "snake" charcoal for low & slow cooking…every possible cooking method. There's nothing this grill can't do—beginner or expert, it's the go-to outdoor cooker. I specifically chose this model because 1. the ash basket vs. the ash dish of the previous models, and 2. I have a charcoal storage container already and the compact size is exactly what I need (the drop-down shelf is perfect).

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
