Purchased this for my dad for Christmas. It had all the features he liked, the bin, heat sheilds and especially the lid rack. it is also very to move around.

Can't beat the quick start to true charcoal grilling. Had a Performer years ago which I lost in a divorce but like true love it has returned!

This grill is AWESOME! I am very satisfied with it. The propane charcoal starter is an excellent option to think of if you are thinking of buying a Performer grill.

The lift out section of the grate prevents hanging grate out of the way when lighting grill. Small inconvenience

I got this as an early Christmas from the family. It was replacing a 20 year old performer that I've used religiously since I first got it (I definitely got my money's worth out of it). There are a lot of little nice features that have been introduced in this model - there's now a heat shield under the handle to protect your hand when removing the lid, the cooking surface is about 2-3 inches higher than the old grill... which I didn't notice would be better until i started cooking on it, the grill grate is better and more sturdy, the gas start uses the camping propane vs the small propane tanks which I'd always get made fun of by the propane guys for filling "for your barbie grill" (and the gas start works, mine broke about 10 years ago!). Small dislikes - my old one had a hook to hang the grate from when filling the grill with charcoal. I dunno, maybe this one has it and I haven't found it. For now, I just put the grate on the wire tray below. I personally liked the stainless steal cooking surface on the old one. Not that the new one is bad, I just liked the look of the old one better. I'm a huge Weber fan and have always liked my Performer. I have no doubt this will be another 20 year grill for me!

Perfect all around grill, the table and charcoal ignition are great features. The Pac-Man lid is also a great feature.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
