This is my second Performer grill, the first one was purchased twenty years ago. I had trouble finding one in a store and it became what I referred to as my search for the holy grill. I have used a Weber Kettle for over forty years and grill only with hard wood charcoal. To me the Performer is a perfect blend of charcoal flavor with gas convenience.

This is everything a Weber Kettle should be with the huge bonus of a gas lighter, plus work space. When cooking, and sometimes moving quickly, having a space for tools, sauces, and food, along with an an easy to use holder for the lid, makes things convenient and safe.

Grill assembly was week documented and easy to perform. The grill performance is outstanding; I enjoy using the grill every chance I get. The charcoal holder bin and the charcoal lighter is awesome. It is effortless to get great tasting cooked on this grill. Highly recommended.

I received this piece of art from my wife for Christmas. It's really difficult to express how happy it makes me. There's saccharine cliches galore about time spent with my family while inhaling smoke and a beer: asking one of my boys to run into the house to get the one ingredient I forgot or my wife reminding me that ribs took way longer than I guessed they would. But you can't rush this stuff, right? This kettle is heavenly.

I had an older Performer grill, about 15 years old. I love the new battery-powered ignition system, an improvement over the old friction spark system. I'm not so sure about the metal side table. I thing it's going to be very hot in the summer. The new grill, with the removable section in the middle for the "gourmet BBQ system" is frustrating; there's a new slot in the back panel to hold the grill while the charcoal ignites, which I like, but invariably the center insert falls on the ground when placing the grill in the slot or removing it. I think maybe the product should be sold with the standard grill, and let customers get the new grill when/if they decide to invest in the inserts.

I feel like the quality has gone downhill. My friend gave my a Weber kettle that was found under his grandfather's porch that was easily 20 years old. I used it for another 6 years before I got crushed under my 5th wheel. Now they last 5-7 years if your lucky. Got this one for Christmas this year as my previous performer was rusting apart (7 yrs). This one was missing the axel and the lid didn't fit. To they're credit Weber kept sending me parts until it was right. The attached table is a must have, and the charcoal bin is super convenient.

Amazing in so many ways. I used the standard issue kettle for years. This is such a nice upgrade. Too many to list. Go buy one right now. You will not be disappointed. Weber fan for life!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
