This is a fantastic grill with lots of thoughtful features. I didn't originally think that I needed a gas charcoal starter, or a place to put the cover, or even an attached table, but now I can't live with out these features. This grill does it all: Searing, indirect cooking, low and slow smoking.

It's way better than I thought it would be having a table and able to light the charcoal different ways. I really enjoy cooking on my new Weber grill performer.

I would have given it 5 stars, however I am not really pleased with the fit of the lid to the bottom. It is not very tight as all my previous Weber grills have been thus loosing a lot of smoke and possibly heat as well. Other wise I love the gas start and the charcoal storage container and the thermometer!

While the kettle is actually better design with the vent on the other side and the new temp gauge better the quality is far inferior than my older model that was forced to retire. 1st the table is garbage. comes with a steel table that was too hot to touch in the winter. So I reused the old top. 2nd the screws are painted now, so I reused the Stainless screws. Im grateful the design stayed the same because is works well

This Weber Performer grill is just plain classy. I've had the smaller grill and it worked very well but not enough room. When we moved into our new home this is really what I wanted. Now I feel like I'm on the pro level with this model. Weber has a great website too that has lots of recipes and tips on grilling. Nothing beats charcoal!!!

Just do it! I wish it was my 1st ketel purchase! Ive owned the classic 22 and Master-Touch 22. The charcoal igniter and side table are blessings! With igniter its a simple lighting process and you can cut 5-8 min till charcoal is lit. I recommend the black cover for inclement weather! This bbq is pricey but worth every penny! I do not regret my purchase! I am a loyal weber customer because the products are great quality and customer service is 2nd to none!

My new Weber Performer Deluxe Charcoal grill has lots of features l look forward to making use of. First of all, I appreciate how well built this thing is...it's solid! I love having a work table right next to the grilling surface. I also appreciate the removable ash catcher...my old Weber did not have this feature. Being able to use a small 16oz propane tank to ignite the charcoal is also a nice feature. Finally, the Gourmet BBQ system allows you to cook ANYTHING on your Weber. I have ordered the custom fit griddle & pizza stone...looking forwarding to using both of these accessories in the near future.

I have used weber charcoal grills for 30 years and despite always being pleased with the grilling results, I intermittently have tried propane grills recommended by others. Admittedly the propane grill's easy start up speeds the cooking process significantly, but the performance of the charcoal grill with it's flame control and added taste profile makes this method the clear winner.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
