The propane charcoal starter and table on a cart design is well worth the extra money to upgrade. The propane starter removes the need of a starter for a chimney full of coals. The charcoal bin is nice but be sure to get the smaller bags of charcoal to go inside it. I had a 35lb bag that didn't fit and had to use a different bag.

works great I wish it was marked better so you could tell how much bottom vent is opened, Also wish gas feed had a timer so I could start and walk away, Grill lets you control temperture very well. , you should mention in ads surface of table is steel,,,a pleasant surprise....also customer service working from home does not work for Weber or delivery company, they are not professionnel ,have no empathy and seem to be forgetful when it comes to returning calls or answering calls.

I had a first gen Performer Deluxe for 20 years. I loved it. The frame for the old grill rusted out and I made a repair to it but finally it was time for it to go. My new grill preserves all of the great features of my old grill and if it lasts like the old one, I will be happy. I gave the old boy away.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
