Super easy to use. Just pile charcoal over the flame area. Turn on the propane, hit the spark and a few minutes later the coals are ready. Wish it was a little cheaper. This is my second one, the first went about 7-9 years. You cannot beat the taste of lump charcoal. Gas grills have no wood flavor. I sometimes stick a bit of hickory or other soaked wood near the coals,.....cannot really do that with gas.

My grill not a year old. Been in storage all winter. Gas start stopped working. Informed me no warranty service in MD. I can not, will not try repairs myself on gas grill with free parts sent to me. I do not know what's wrong. Retailer does not service. Don't think Weber trying to diagnose over phone is good either. Just wanted a quality product for years to come. This is very expensive junk!

Once you go Charcoal you will never go back. I smoked two racks of ribs. This grill worked like a charm. Easy to operate. Mine is blue…exclusive to Crate and Barrel. Okay also bought the Pizza maker kit. Cannot wait to use this feature. I highly recommend this Grill!

This is my first grill, and I've already grilled a couple of small things. The grill took a novice like me quite some time to put together, but I did it. As some other reviewers have mentioned, the timer installation is so crappy for such an amazing grill. I've tried several attempts to install it, but gave up. Our first time grilling turned out pretty well. The propane starter makes it really easy to light the coals. Clean up is also a breeze. I give the grill five-stars, but the timer negative five stars. It sucks.

I've had a Performer Deluxe for about a year, now. I gifted my 2005 Weber Genesis Silver gas grill to a friend and decided to go with a charcoal grill. Everything I have cooked on this grill has turned out perfectly. I've never received so many compliments about the flavor of the food I've prepared. If you are torn between the Weber Kettle models, I will say that the gas assist, Gourmet System & side table a great value in the long run. Weber grills are a good investment because you can easily get any replacement parts you need to keep them maintained. I highly recommend this grill.

I've always owned a Weber. My last one still works after 49 years. My family and I decided a new grill with a side table would be in order for Father's Day. I'm very satisfied that this grill will last as long as my last one and will be passed on to my kids in time.

I've only had this grill for 2wks, but so far it's getting the job done. Assembly was fairly easy, even though I was missing one of the brackets that secured the leg - I had to improvise. I got the crimson color - had chipped paint around where you secure the handle. Overall, it's a good grill for the price.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
