This grill is incredible! This is my 2nd performer. I have over 7 different styles of Weber kettle grills but only two identical performer deluxe grills. The Performer Deluxe is my go to for simple hotdogs and burgers to smoking a pork shoulder and more! The GBS is great especially if you add the sear grate. I've got the rotisserie as well. This grill is versatile and well worth every penny.

I purchased my Performance Grill in 2005. Weber is still the finest built and best performing charcoal grill available. While the gas ignition system no longer operates - I haven't bothered replacing the regulator (which conked out after about 12 years) although I'm sure I can obtain a replacement from Weber - I have experienced no real issues prior to last week when the handle (when manufactured, this model had a welded-on handle) began to give away causing the lid to drop from my grip and fall onto my brick patio, resulting in a kink in the lid which prevents proper fitting. I just received a new lid (came within 2 days) and expect to get another 15 years out of this product (although I suspect that the cooking grate will need to be replaced some time? - solid now though). I do keep the grill covered/protected with the Weber vinyl cover. I am thrilled with the performance of the grill and its longevity.

Lean, mean grilling machine. It doesn't take too much charcoal to get a sweet cooking fire to roast. This BBQ model is quite sustainable in regards to charcoal usage. I haven't used the gas hook up yet but the Weber customer service rep was fantastic. There is an additional pair of screws sold as a separate SKU needed for the gas hookup. I would not have known about the screws if I hadn't called to confirm the gas hookup I was purchasing was fir my model. The rep sent it to me free of charge priority mail. Thank you!

Very nice grill. It was really easy to put together, every fit very good. There was a bent bowl and lid on arrival. I was upset but a sales rep had new ones to me in 2 days so I was very pleased after that hiccup was resolved.

Excellent charcoal grill. Clean, efficient and propane gas starter is a winner. Charcoal baskets could be bigger.

Excellent setup. Love the gas starter. For the money, the performer just can't be beat for convenience and charcoal cookability. There are more expensive grills out there but they basically do the same thing. On the flip side there are less expensive grills as we know, but the convenience trumps those. I used a 22" kettle before this which I now use as a spare. Since getting the performer, my outdoor cooking has risen to another level.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
