After switching to a Weber propane when I had kids, I decided to pick up a Performer when my current Weber started to show its age. I just LOVE this grill. Easy to use, enjpy the terrific heat control it gives me, and really love the versatility of the included baskets. Couldn't be happier.

The only thing missing in this grill is a port for an external temperature probe.

You can't use all lump wood coal if needing to maintain temp of 375-400. Just isn't possible, as much as I wanted to get away from the harmful agents in pure charcoal had to add to finish grilling. It's a nightmare trying to maintain temp while opening the side doors and add fuel.

I ordered this by phone because I had some questions about the new P-shaped vent. The CSR was helpful and polite. It was nice visiting with Shawna. Delivery was fast and the huge box arrived un-damaged. The assembly was easy because the instructions were well illustrated. Every part fit perfect. The one touch gas start is a feature I really like and one of the resons I upgraded to the Deluxe. My son in law will be getting my old Premium Performer.

Limited use so far, very new to me. Still learning to navigate it, but love the results! Tender pork loin, crispy chicken wings, juicy burgers! The stow-away trash can is multi-use. We store charcoal and accessories in it.

I did a lot of research between gas, pellet and charcoal grills and knew I wanted charcoal...the ease of lighting the Performer Deluxe made my final decision a no brainer. It looks great, not surprising being a Weber, and " performs " even better, truly simple to light and the space gives options to cook.

I have the original Grill in this format. It is 30 years old and just now looking to have to replace it. This grill has been incredible through all these years. i am looking forward to ordering a new one. :) You cant go wrong with this grill.

This replaced our 21 year old easy touch propane fired charcoal. I love the P vents they allow you to dial in the perfect temp.

I've been a loyal Weber customer for MANY years. This new Performer Deluxe is my second, first one just plain wore out, live in Miami, so it's an all year grill. ( lasted 12 years) had 3 original Weber grills before that. I really love them! The new cart is, in my opinion, of lesser quality. Thinner metal and just changes that effect the ease of operation. The " new" ash catcher is almost a two person task to remove and replace. It was perfectly fine on the previous model. Very difficult to align and lock in. It's not just me, had other people try it, all agree, — not user friendly. Have my "old one" still to compare. Also the new table seems less durable, time will tell. Seems the "new improvements" are more cost saving measures than improvements. Love the improved touch and go lighting system. All in all still the BEST GRILL around for me, but some tweaking is needed.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
