I bought this grill for several reasons; the Weber name and quality, it is electric, it is the largest one like it available, and it is cast aluminum with stainless steel interior parts. It gives great grill marks and cooks quickly when preheated per the instructions.

I can't get over this is electric. Even considering switching my gas out in motor home. No running out of gas.

The grill is great. The size works very well for us. We are a retired couple so I use it as my only grill. The stand is flimsy. It's probably ok for a tailgate if you have a power supply, but it's terrible for those of us using the grill as our only grill. It's plastic, it's not as stable as it should be when I move it. The cover does not come to ground which I need for rain.

Grill works well. Would prefer to have two heating elements so that there could be a hot side and "cooler" side when cooking

I'm surprised how much I like this electric grill. The Condo Association banned gas grills. I had a behemoth Weber gas grill and loved it. Didn't want to switch to electric. I read a lot of reviews and elected to go with a brand name I've trusted for gas and charcoal grills. I use this on the patio of my condominium. It heats up nicely in about 10-15 minutes. I would like it more if there was a thermometer like my old gas grill. However, it does get very hot, created nice grill marks on the food. I cover the grill when not in use and store the cord inside my unit as recommended. I also use a Teflon cooking mat which protects the heating element from getting dripped on and also allows the grill to be used as a griddle for vegetables or grilling fish without using a basket. After about eight uses, I am surprised to say I like this grill more than I expected to. After being forced to switch to electric I'm pleasantly pleased and believe I will transition to this new electric grill with glowing results.

Perfect for my wife and me. We are empty-nesters, and the Q2400 is perfect size for us, or us plus another couple or even two other couples. The heat is easily controllable. Loving it!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
