Spit rod walks out and binds in the slots in the grill and stops. Poor design . Grill works great just get the version without rotisserie.

This little grill is awesome! I cook on it nearly every night and all year long for the last three or four years. Even through the winter months, in the snow! It does draw a good amount of power so for me I just can't run the vacuum cleaner while cooking, no biggy. The rotisserie is great and works well. I usually cook two quails on it for Thanksgiving. You can add a tinfoil pocket of cedar chips to get a nice smoky flavor, cook fish and poultry very well with no flare ups. I've only cooked beef in it a handful of times and that usually will flare up so keep a spray bottle nearby. Nothing abnormal for grilling though. Would certainly recommend and would buy again if needed be.

My grill came while I was on vacation. As soon as I put it together I started using it. I have grilled something almost every night and intend to grill tonight even though it is hailing right now. I absolutely LOVE my grill.

Bought this after thoroughly researching electric grills for apartments not allowing gas grills. This came out on top. Been using it for 3 years with NO problems. Replacing the control unit for $70 as we were it out. Has a great size surface area, easy to control the temp, lid is a big plus. Cannot say enough good. Will get another when this one wears out. Use almost every day in spring and summer. We use a high capacity extension cord to plug inside in a spare outlet. It will pull a lot of power. Worth the extra efforts.

Hi Warner. Meco Americana does not list a high temperature for this electric grill. They do, however, suggest allowing about 10 minutes for the grill to preheat.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
