This is the second one I have purchased

I had my last Meco Lock n Go Electric grill for 10 years and got plenty of good use out of it. I have a large propane grill also but, the Meco was ideal for just myself or small gatherings. I liked it so much that after 10 years I decided to purchase another one and gave my old one to a friend who still uses it. Couldn't make up my minmd whether I wanted the same lock n go or the tabletop grill so, I bought them both. I am very, very satisfied with the performance of both of them and now with the two of them I rarely ever have to bring out and use my large propane grill which is a lot harder to maneuver and clean. If and when the 2 I have now ever need to be replaced I would gladly purchase either one again.

Get product, would buy another if needed

Easy to assemble, portable, cooks great. I've cook chicken, hamburgers, steaks and shish kabobs with no problems and to perfection. A great grill for those with minimal space.

I would buy this product again.

I loved using it. Please let me know if you have replacement parts. My heating element and power cord burned out. Guess I enjoyed it too much!

Cooks good

I recently purchased this grill to use on my backporch. I have had 4 other small electric grills which I wore out. This grill cooks good for the proper foods(steaks, pork chops, chicken fingers, hamburgers and smoked sausage). Do not try to cook chicken quarters or halves on this grill. The only design flaw is the grease pan. The grease comes out the side of the grill onto the table so I use a metal pan to catch the excess grease.

Great item.

I like the convience of the grill. Unlike gas grills the cooking time is slower and so it does take more time to grill with this little electric grill. But for me that was a small price to pay. I am single and using a large gas grill was just to impractical for me. I like it and would purchase this grill again.

Quick & Easy

Its great to come home from work and start it up for a quick dinner right on the back porch. Terrific for steaks, chops and chicken, even smoked some ribs last weekend. The only down side is having to loosen the element to clean the drip pan underneath, but even that's getting easier as I'm becoming more familiar with the grill.

This is a very nifty grill--

No charcoal means no waiting for it to heat up. No propane means no tank to fill and keep filled. This is the best idea ever for quick easy dependable grilling. We use it about 5 times a week in season--May through October. When our first one lost its element after 3 years, we couldn't get a replacement fast enough.

Can I put charcoal in and cook with it? Basically use the electric feature to start the charcoal. Was This Helpful?

Hi Gordon. This Meco grill is intended for electrical use only. However, Meco does say that wood chips can be used in conjunction with the element.

Question:
We have a #2120 electric grill. In the manual no cooking information is found. Would like to know how to cook different meats at what temperature settings and times. Do you have a chart or recipe book for this model? We like our grill .Was This Helpful?
Answers:

Hi, Vince. Glad to hear you like your Meco Americana grill (I loved mine). As for recipes, This is the Meco recipe site. Any of the recipes for the electric grills or smokers will work for you: https://mecocorp.com/meco-grill-recipes/

Question:
what size is the grill rack and is it dishwasher friendly? Was This Helpful?
Answers:

Hi Frankie, the grill rack is 13 1/4 inches in diameter and we don't recommend putting grill grates through a washer machine as it could cause damage to the grates and/or the machine.

Question:
Can i use rocks & woodchips in grill? Was This Helpful?
Answers:

Hi Jojo. Yes, you can. If you're using lava rocks, you can place them around the elements to even out the heat. For woodchips, you'll want to use a small smoker box that will sit on the grate.

When will my item arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

  • Most freight products ship on a pallet
  • Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
  • We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.

For carriers that deliver without an appointment:

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
