Americana by Meco Lock-N-Go Portable 1650 Watt Electric Grill - Black - 2120

Bought a dome smoker Me o Americano and checked the contents upon opening found parts missing. They claim the advantage of a the product is buying American. Well the customer service is non existent. Called it 5 times between the times when they claimed to service the number provided and was met with a message to call back during those times. Sad that a potential decent product is spoilt by good ole American nonsense customer service. It isn't just about selling it is about providing some quality of service with the product. It's easy to miss packing a part. It isn't acceptable to have no customer service to deal with issues. Disgraceful.

Poorly designed and cheaply manufactured this grill appears to be a hazard to operate. Parts were missing and directions were incomprehensible. I gave mine away without ever using it. Good luck to the person who got it.

I have one of these little pcs of junk. Very poorly engineered. Top does not cover bottom so rain can't get in, have to take apart to clean, no bottom drain. would not recommend buying. I certainly will not buy again.

Every time I plug it in, it trips the breaker. Instructions say to call an electrician if that happens. Well, it's hard to get an electrician to come out to our state park campground, which is why I bought the thing. Tripped the campground breaker and every outlet at the house. Plus, you shouldn't have to pay $$$ for an electrician to use this grill. Now it sits in the shed useless. So irritating.

Yes I love my portable grill.Some of my neighbors are wanting to buy one also.

I recently purchased this grill to use on my backporch. I have had 4 other small electric grills which I wore out. This grill cooks good for the proper foods(steaks, pork chops, chicken fingers, hamburgers and smoked sausage). Do not try to cook chicken quarters or halves on this grill. The only design flaw is the grease pan. The grease comes out the side of the grill onto the table so I use a metal pan to catch the excess grease.

I had my last Meco Lock n Go Electric grill for 10 years and got plenty of good use out of it. I have a large propane grill also but, the Meco was ideal for just myself or small gatherings. I liked it so much that after 10 years I decided to purchase another one and gave my old one to a friend who still uses it. Couldn't make up my minmd whether I wanted the same lock n go or the tabletop grill so, I bought them both. I am very, very satisfied with the performance of both of them and now with the two of them I rarely ever have to bring out and use my large propane grill which is a lot harder to maneuver and clean. If and when the 2 I have now ever need to be replaced I would gladly purchase either one again.

This product doesn't heat up enough to make grill lines. Forget about thick steaks. Better off in the broiler. Had to replace heating/Thermostat unit twice. Finally threw it out rather then spend [$] for replacement unit which Mecco would not warranty. If you like steamed style grilling with no "outdoor" flavor, then this unit is for you. I still have not found an electric unit under 100 dollars that can be used on Condo restricted balconies that can replace real charcoal grilling. This was one of six grills and smokers that I own and its warranty limits make it a PASS in my Grilling experiences.

Easy to assemble, portable, cooks great. I've cook chicken, hamburgers, steaks and shish kabobs with no problems and to perfection. A great grill for those with minimal space.

I like the convience of the grill. Unlike gas grills the cooking time is slower and so it does take more time to grill with this little electric grill. But for me that was a small price to pay. I am single and using a large gas grill was just to impractical for me. I like it and would purchase this grill again.
