It's green, not gray. I had to replace it once because the first was gouged in the box. I had to get a warranty part on the replacement. The upgrade is insignificant. I wish I had just gotten a lower grade kettle.

After an initial glitch due to the lid not being perfectly round, and not fitting well, Customer Support at Weber sent a new lid. This one fit very snugly. We use the Weber around three times a week and could not be happier. I've been open-fire cooking for a long time (South African braai-style) and was wondering how having a lid would affect cooking times, after transitioning to the Weber. The kettle uses a lot less charcoal and there is way more control, in terms of heat, with the venting. It's still a learning curve but we are very, very happy. I might just cook everything on it!

Love the grill I opened the box as soon as it was delivered, put it together and cooked on it that night. We plan our meals around what we can grill on our Weber.

The grill is beautiful but the quality of the legs are just bad. It makes the grill wobbly and just flimsy feeling. I wish I would have looked at other grills.

I am a lifelong Webber user and fan. When I saw the 70th Anniversary addition kettle's, I had to have one. Purchased in Rock N Roll Blue. No issues putting it together and the finish and parts were flawless accept for a pinhead size chip on the cover that you can't really see from a distance. It really is a work of art and I couldn't stop staring at it for the first week. I finally did my first cook the other night and it functioned flawlessly. I can't wait to experiment with many cooking techniques in the coming years. Highly Recommend!

This is my second Weber kettle. I couldn't take my old one with me during the move. I loved my old one I'm sure this one will perform just as good. Right now I'm on outage and the grill is at my house sitting in the garage still in the box

Nice Weber grill. Cool. Details The only department from Weber that needs improvement is quality. The top does not fit easily the bottom of the grill, you have to push it with force. I am not the only one who noticed this problem

It may help to rotate the lid 90 degrees when covering the grill. It is normal for some smoke to escape. Over time, these gaps will become seasoned. When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
