Purchased in June of '22 so this is an approximately six month review. Assembly was strait-forward enough, documentation could be better. Build quality seemed just ok 6/10 I'd say. Once assembled the cart seemed a just a bit wobbly with the grill on. Overtime it seems more like the unit is not built to last. Burner dial knobs are already breaking and the burners themselves are now a bit tricky to get lit. I keep the grill covered at all times when not in use. Cover is also already tearing in the corners. I opted for the IR burner upgrade and I believe now after some testing that it was a complete waste of money. The upgraded IR burner does not sear better than the standard burners in my side by side testing of both pork and beef. My plan was to ultimately remove the grill from the base and install into my new outdoor kitchen under construction but I believe I will try to sell it (at a huge loss no doubt) and purchase a better unit, probably a Bull.

My BLAZE 40" 5 Burner Grill is 8 years old and still looks new! I initially researched grills up to and including Wolf and Lynx but in the end, I choose BBQGUYS and their BLAZE grill on stainless steel cabinet with side shelves. None of the other grills I looked at or researched offered me as much quality and grill per dollar as BLAZE did! Assembling it amazed me as I never once had to use a drift pin or pry bar to get holes to line up so I could insert a bolt. Everything aligned perfectly the only thing that I've ever put together that fit that well. They even provided extra bolts and such in case I lost one. It was set up for propane and I used it for over a year before having it built into an outdoor kitchen. I removed the side shelves and caster wheels and had the grill on its cabinet built into the kitchen and it fits perfectly. I ordered a conversion kit to natural gas from BBQGUYS along with a double surface-mounted burner kit to build in. Originally I had ordered a sear burner which I still have installed and use. I did replace the very heavy grill grates with GRILLGRATES and have been delighted with their added performance as they truly do infuse whatever I am grilling with the drips from whatever I am cooking. We live in the Nevada Desert which makes many competitor grills quickly deteriorate. My BLAZE grill still looks nearly new with the exception of the rubber and grips on the burner adjustment knobs having been burnt off by the desert sun. I am still tickled pink that I brought the BLAZE 40" 5 burner grill. The BBQGUYS were a delight to work with, answering my many questions, and most of all delivering what they advertised promptly and if anything their product exceeded any reasonable expectation of quality, durability, and performance. The delivery was via a tractor trailer and came on two pallets. I heartily and emphatically recommend the BLAZE grill as perhaps the best quality per dollar spent that is out there!

3 years ago we purchased a big box home improvement type grill to use at our weekend lake home. We knew it was "disposable", but it made sense at the time because we were making multiple major improvements to the home. Purchasing a high-end grill was a luxury at the time. Cheesy grill finally started crapping out this past spring. I did months of research trying to find the right high-quality grill and kept circling back to the Blaze LTE and am happy that I did! I called customer service and got a better price and a couple of accessories included in the price. It arrived packaged perfectly within a week. I couldn't believe how solid the construction and the parts were just unboxing. This thing is a hoss! Assembly was straight-forward, and I swoon just looking at it! I cooked on it twice over the weekend and am so pleased with the performance. Being an experienced cook and using multiple grades of both indoor and outdoor kitchen appliances, I can honestly say that this grill is worth every penny. I can't imagine paying thousands more and getting anything better. BBQ Guys customer service is also fantastic! There was an issue with one of the welds on the smoker box accessory and they didn't hesitate in making it right.

Things I've learned after 2 years of continuous year round use at our home (Uncovered in Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall) A) This is a GREAT well made product (Grill & Stand) that allows me to grill to perfection with professional looking crosshatched grill marks. As I've stated, I'll be buying a second one for my daughters house. This grill is made to last and is so far maintenance free B) Natural Gas is not as HOT as Propane. I came from Weber Summit Propane Grills. You'll have no problem adapting to NG if you are coming from Propane and this grill gets plenty hot for searing and grill marks. C) The burners are hotter toward the rear. If you did a toast test the back pieces would be charred while the front ones would barely be toasted. This is not a problem, just something you will find out through use. Most grills I've ever used have warmer and cooler places on the grill. Once you understand their locations you use them to your cooking advantage. For instance, I always sear at the back. Please understand that these temperature differences are nuances you will come to understand. The front of the grill grates get plenty hot. If you filled the grill with hamburger patties, you will find the back ones cook quicker. D) I was incredibly interested in the infrared burner so bought one and installed it in place of the left most cast SS burner. Wow does that sucker get hot. I enjoyed using it but since I tend to cook multiple steaks (ribeyes are my favorite) at once I found it easier to just preheat the entire grill with the standard cast SS burners and use the whole grill surface. No complaints so far on those delicious ribeyes. E) The back 1/3 of the burners will get hot enough to self-clean the perforated flare-up shield and triangular grilling rods if you leave it on high for 20 minutes (approx.). Self-Cleaning to me means all the char and residue become white ash. F) I don't use the burner zone separators. G) Drip tray will fill up with rain

Great grill, very easy to put together and a nice even heat throughout.

Grilling on my new Blaze grill as often as possible. Temps dipped into the 20s and low 30s not long after I received the grill; however, that didn't stop the grilling. Got up to good temps and seared steaks and pork chops. Holds heat well. The grill grates are awesome. Well built grill that feels very sturdy. Space on the warming rack is a bit cramped but still very functional. Overall, I am very satisfied with this grill.

This grill is excellent. Went together great, due to the quality construction. With the heavy-duty parts, I am sure I will enjoy this for years to come. Love the lifetime warranty for stainless steel parts. Start up instructions made seasoning a breeze.

This unit is built very well. The quality is outstanding. The only negative comment I have is access to locking the casters. They sit too far in and they are low. There is not enough space for your foot to fit under to use the locking mechanism.

This is a very nice grill. Quality materials and easy to clean. The defined sections make variable temperature control across the grill surface very functional.

Like the grill after one use, my 16 yr old daughter put it together today for me, I just read the instructions and we lifted in the grill into the cart. Heavy! Went together easily. Simple to connect. Put in the sear burner before connecting gas. All lit up quickly except for the rotisserie, tried to light it a few times, don't know if it was lit and I didn't know it? So turned it off and tried it again, then put a lighter to it and heard it kick in. Will try it a few more times to see if it is me. Two panels were dented when inspecting before putting together, both panels on the back side, one the dent is hidden between mating surfaces, the other is almost center on the large back panel. Not concerned..... cooked chicken, broccoli, and potatoes for the first meal. Potatoes on the top grate(warming tray)away from the grill, 30 minutes.... cooks quick! Have to figure out how the temps work, but I had the lid open too much, so my issue. I like the lid for the insulated panel, keeps the outside panel from getting too hot, my daughter touched my last grill on the lid and got burned. Five stars for that! Kind of like how the flare ups when the juices drip down doesn't cause a big flame, just flames up then quickly goes out. Can't wait to do a steak on this grill. Next grilling session I am going to try to use burners differently, see if you can control independent temps on each burner. Will do another review after more usage......

Asked by Christian | Answered by katarafarmsHi there! This grill does not need electricity to be started but it will need electricity for the lights.
Asked by ETC46 | Answered by TiffanyHi David. Yes, this Blaze LTE Model BLZ-5LTE2-LP can be removed from the cart and installed as a built in. It can also be converted to natural gas but that would need to be done by a licensed plumber. Here is the link to the conversion kit you would need to convert it to natural gas: https://www.bbqguys.com/blaze-outdoor-products/conversion-kit-liquid-propane-to-natural-gas-blz-convkit-ng
Asked by David | Answered by TiffanyHi Dave, yes they can, the natural gas version of this grill is available here: https://www.bbqguys.com/blaze-outdoor-products/lte-40-inch-5-burner-freestanding-natural-gas-grill-with-rear-infrared-burner-grill-lights-blz-5lte2-ng
Asked by Dave | Answered by RosaHi Steve-O! You shouldn't have a problem obtaining high heat with this grill! Each cast stainless burner delivers 14,000 BTUs of cooking power, and there are 5 on this grill! As a comparrison, a standard home stove has about 7,000 BTUs per burner and the average grill side burner has 12,000 BTUs. Combining the high heat and quality of this grill with your cast iron pan, you'll be wanting to make fajitas everynight! YUM!
Asked by Steve-O | Answered by JesicaHi John! The Blaze LTE uses an AC power supply to power the grill lights. An outlet with a 15 AMP breaker with GFI protection is recommended.
Asked by John | Answered by BriannaGreat question, Steve! The cart without the side shelves is 41 3/8 inches wide.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
