I've owned Weber grills for over 50 years changing them out as new technology emerges. This is by far the best grill ever. The only problem is that you won't know whether to broil, use griddle or normal grill. I've been using it for all three and am enjoying them all. Thanks for making grilling much more fun. PS Need to come up with more recipes using broiler.

Have used the grill 6 times since purchased. One side of grill I'm using the flat iron insert. Flat iron option a great compliment to the grill, using it more and more. Overall, I'd recommend this model, good heat coverage, burners ignite quickly. Internal lighting a plus! Downsides: side burner not that functional, unless you are using a small pot. In comparison to the grill, Weber could have put more thought into this option. Side compartments are not available to purchase to add on to grill. You need to order the model with the side compartments installed at the factory Last observation which is just my OCD kicking in, in the bottom compartment, line the top and lower shelf with a material to deaden the sound of what is being stored.

We absolutely love our new Summit grill. The added griddle is one of my favorites. The sear feature works great. My only complaint would be the design to put the propane tank on the scale showing how much fuel remains. It is Way, Way to hard to get the tank on the hook. I need to get on my knees to lift it on. For a grill of this quality and expense it should have a sliding rack that comes out and allows you to do all of the hookup outside of the cabinet. We have a gas fire pit that does that. We have just stopped using the fuel gauge feature which is a shame.

Fairly easy to assemble Grill cooks even and heats up extremely fast. Beautiful and weber service team was helpful in expediting shipment. As with anything, the older models were built much sturdier pertainingto framing. But this new Summit Review for Summit® FS38 S Gas Grill (Liquid Propane) Summit® FS38 S has all the bells and whistles to impress. Thoroughly happy with this new Weber.

I love this grill! I have used the rotisssarie, burner, wok station and grilled. MY only complaint is that installing the propane tank on the scale is not easy and if you aren't strong enough itmight be impossible( I do love the gauge,though).

Hi New Buyer. Weber lists the dimensions of the Summit FS38 as 52.50” H x 73” W x 27.00” D with the lid closed.

Asked by Questioner | Answered by WesleyHi grill. Weber uses stainless steel screws throughout the Summit grill. As for materials, Weber uses a cast aluminum fire box, powder-coated back and sides for the cart, and stainless steel for the hood, doors, and side shelf surfaces.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
