I've owned this grill for a year. It's very well made & sturdy. The only problem is the grate which holds the coals is way too low beneath the surface of the actual grilling grate.

Grill is the typical Weber grilling performance, with great features that make grilling pleasurable: lots of work space; charcoal bin makes storing charcoal convenient and easy to access; grill lid holder is wonderful (no more setting the lid on the ground); ash bin works well and is not messy like the traditional ash tray. Highly recommended.

But this grill about a month ago. All the pieces didn't come in the box. It took about a month for Weber to get me the parts. As an apology for waiting too long they sent me very nice gift.

Nothing matches this Weber, imo. from the perfect height to the lid holder to the charcoal basket and the landing area. Just brilliant!

All the grill you need. Received as a gift from my wife & daughters and it has been the gift that keeps on giving. No complaints really (rare for me). One wheel cracked and Weber replaced via warranty in a jiffy so great service too.

I could have purchased assembled from local dealer but chose to order direct and assemble myself (which I have always done). Following the directions, I screwed the top 8 screws finger tight but when finishing up using a screwdriver 3 of the screws would not go in straight and ended up stripping out. I would suggest using a different fastening technic with screws and washer/nuts instead. Also the kettle top and bottom do not mate properly (out of round)? I have had Weber kettle grills before and don't recall having these issues.

I bought this to replace a 23-year-old Weber Silver performer (I think) grill. Same basic design, kettle and shelf. There are significant improvements in the design over the past 23 years. The frame of the cart was extended further underneath the shelf, and my old shelf was plastic (which broke) and the new one is metal. The charcoal bin is interesting but I won't use it at all. I wish I could remove it, but the bottom of the wire shelf is moulded to accommodate the design of the bin and it isn't flat. It would have been nice space to reclaim. The bin is actually kind of flimsy compared to the rest of the cart. Weber should remove it from the design. I have a stronger plastic bin that I store charcoal in, and the other bags are in the shed. The other thing I would remove is the removable center to the grill surface. I looked at all of the attachments for it, and they are all gimmicky. I usually put my coals to one side so I have a direct side and an indirect side. I considered all of the attachments and found at the end I wouldn't buy any of them. When I replace the grilling surface it won't have the removable center. It's otherwise a great grill and does exactly what it's supposed to. Great to see a lot of improvements over the last 23 years, and I hope I get more years out of the new one.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
